This happens when the installer tries to register the shortcuts in the start menu. I guess the call is either outdated for your version of gnome or you're not using gnome at all.

Where are you seeing this error?

extensions.gnome.org is where you download extensions for GNOME from and it needs a browser extension and associated Linux package for the site to integrate with your desktop environment.

If you are on Ubuntu then you can try following the steps in https://askubuntu.com/questions/1032770/unable-to-download-updates-from-extensions-gnome-org to install the supporting package.

This problem shouldn't affect Armory's operation at all though. This sounds more like a problem with your GNOME shell.
