Usually this happens because users are confused about the unit of account electrum is using. By default that's mbtc which is 1/1000th of a bitcoin. You can change this via tools  > preferences > general tab > base unit option.

Thanks for the quick replies. Problem solved. I did change the server(maybe not necessary) and increased the transaction size to 546 Satoshi. Didn't know about Testnet. Thanks

At some point "dust" was anything under 5500 satoshi.

For changing the server you have to click on the big green dot at bottom-right, go to server tab, uncheck automatic servers and .. I think that you have to type by hand the server/port (actually better type somewhere else and then copy/paste).
Already answered.

But for tests why don't you use testnet?? You have to only start electrum.exe --testnet
Google will help you with a faucet that provides you testnet coins for your tests.

What is "dust outputs"?
Basically, very small amount of bitcoins in the outputs or change.

"The server returned an error when broadcasting the transaction.
Consider trying to connect to a different server, or updating Electrum.
Transaction could not be broadcast due to dust outputs."
The first two lines of the error message usually displays when you're connected to the hacker's server but the last line indicates that there's a very small amount in the output which will be rejected by the nodes.
If the change is too small and you don't need to send an exact amount, use "max" instead of indicating the amount when creating a test tx (best with coin control).

The dust limit is set is to 546 Satoshi. If you're sure you are using the latest version downloaded from the official website , you can try to connect to another server by going to Tools => Network => Overview, right-click a server and connect to it.

Error message when attempting to send Bitcoin out of Electrum(ver 3.3.5)-----

"The server returned an error when broadcasting the transaction.
Consider trying to connect to a different server, or updating Electrum.
Transaction could not be broadcast due to dust outputs."

I have updated Electrum and restarted computer. Tried using a VPN but same error.
How would I connect to a different server?
What is "dust outputs"?
Is there a minimum send amount(I was just trying a test transaction)?

Please help.
