On Electrum 2.7.2 Mac OS X El Capitan I am getting this error when I try to send funds.

Code:
error: The transaction was rejected by network rules.(16: mandatory-script-verify-flag-failed (Script failed an OP_EQUALVERIFY operation))

edit: after reboot managed to send transaction but something fishy is going on my balance is higher after sending transaction then before

Managed to re-create the problem with one of my testing wallets.

Something is very wrong with the wallet encryption/password as you can change the password even without filling the current password. If you changed your password this way it'll look like you're successful, but you'll get that error message every time you try to do anything that requires the password.
Also removing the password this way (without filling the current password) will remove the password without actually removing the encryption, and when you view the seed you'll see the encrypted seed instead of the normal multiple words.

Not sure how to fix it other than restoring from the original seed.

thanks a lot for that information. I received various reports but until now I was not able to reproduce the issue.

I'm currently using Electrum 2.7.0. Though I actually just managed to solve it by wiping my wallet and restoring it via the seed. The strange thing I noticed with the error though was it popped up when I tried to do anything, from exporting seeds, to trying to change the password.

I'm using electrum 2.7.1 and OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.

Think this may be a factor of the error I keep getting?

I'm getting the same error as well. It pops up whenever I attempt to do anything, from sending to trying to change my password.

The error message pops up after I enter my correct password to send the btc to another wallet.
the error message is, "object of type 'NoneType' has no len()" Anyone else run into this issue? If so or you happen to know how to fix this issue please let me know! Willing to donate/reward the individual that offers a working solution to this error/mishap!
