Be VERY CAREFUL with this link... the official ElectronCash site is www.electroncash.org and their github is: https://github.com/fyookball/electrum

This electrumcash link looks like it could be a scam... it was only created 22hrs ago??!?  Roll Eyes

Yeah, please share the transaction ID which will allow us to provide more information on why it is still unconfirmed. Depending on the exact fee used, there may be some methods that can be used to speed up the confirmation such as using ViaBTC's accelerator.

I have an unconfirmed balance that's been there for 4 days. In the date column in the wallet it just says "Low Fee" whatever that means. i don't really understand this whole fee thing. In any case should it take more than 4 days for a balance to become confirmed?
Much better to share with us with the transaction TXID or the address you use or the receiver of bitcoin..
So that we know why your transaction still not unconfirmed if you pay for the miners less than the minimum or default fee expect for more delay transactions..
You can check here if what are the default miners fee .

ELI5: A fee is required for every Bitcoin transaction sent. The bigger the fee, the faster it will get confirmed in the network.

The person who sent you this transaction has probably put a fee that is lower than the normal. This means that you will have to wait until the transaction gets confirmed, which may take a few days depending on how much was the fee.

Which wallet are you using? Get your transaction id and search it on Blockchain.info - you will be able to see how much was the fee in the bottom of the page. e.g: In the picture bellow, it was paid a fee of 6 satoshis/byte which is super lower than the average and it will end up taking a lot of days to get confirmed.
