It seems that sending nearly all your BTC makes forever-0/unconfirmed transactions, this is the third time I see that

OP, is your transaction still 0/unconfirmed?
I went and replaced my wallet with a backup. Then i transfered some more coins to it. Transaction went fine. I think the cluent was showing a bad ammount, i did the math and i was short by 0.01 coins. Seems like a glitch.

I can't find any transactions to the address you sent your coins to on blockexplorer.com

Is this another case of the same bug I have encountered?  You might check out http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=29765.msg375611 and see if anyone comes up with a solution for us :p

So, I wanted to send some coins and this is what happened
Status: 0/unconfirmed
Date: 7/18/2011 10:17
To: 13RmAgjGZay17m1RGo6bNYRWfgE2VN9MEz
Debit: -4.34
Transaction fee: -0.00071926
Net amount: -4.34071926

why did it charge a transaction fee like that without my ok? and also why hasnt it been confirmed? its been like 3 hours. since its unconfirmed can i load up another copy of the wallet ans try to send them again?
