Ok, I just increased the fee and I now see it on the blockchain explorer. Hopefully it goes through, it sucks that the transaction fees are so high tho haha

Thanks for all your help guys!

Farewell, Leo
Can anyone tell me what is going on? Is there anything I can do to cancel the transaction perhaps? Thanks.
It seems a little strange to me that it has taken more than a month. Although, I used to enter that small fee, it never disappointed me that much back in the 4-digit price days. You can't view it on block explorers, because they've probably removed it from their mempool. Do not forget, they run their own node. Any information you view from a block explorer is from the explorer's node based on the node' configuration. The default time for nodes to remove a transaction from their memory pool after 14 days. (If I'm not mistaken)

There may be nodes that still have your transaction on their mempool, but they are few. If you want to "cancel" it, you should double-spend the input. What does that mean:  Spend the same coins you spent on the previous transaction, but this time send them to one of your addresses. (with higher fee of course)

Because of the huge amount of unconfirmed transactions... your transaction was likely "purged" from the mempool of a large number of nodes, to keep the memory requirements for their local mempool storage down near the preferred limit of 300Megabytes. Effectively, your transaction has been dropped by the network.

This is caused by the "mempool min fee" value that "default" configured nodes have... if you look here: https://statoshi.info:3000/d/000000020/memory-pool?orgId=1 You can see the current mempool min fee is over 7000 satoshis/kb... that's 7 sats/byte...

Same on mempool.space:

So, any transaction with a fee below that is likely to be purged.

The only explorer I can find your transaction on is: https://btc.com/77058ca2fe790f664a6dce09ec7b9c2f27f90391f10b54b9ddb0d814df566fde

You would either have to rebroadcast it, or attempt to remove or resend it... was it marked as "RBF enabled"? Huh

Hi,

Around the start of February, I sent some funds to my Coinbase account using Electrum. I put in the lowest possible transaction fee (1sat/byte) because I did not need the money any time soon. I realize this was a mistake now, haha.

It still hasn't gone through, and I can't even view the transaction. Clicking the "view on block explorer" links me to a Transaction not found page. The ID is 77058ca2fe790f664a6dce09ec7b9c2f27f90391f10b54b9ddb0d814df566fde.

Can anyone tell me what is going on? Is there anything I can do to cancel the transaction perhaps? Thanks.
