So, I'm using MultiBit HD as my wallet and the default/standard tx fee is .0001 BTC. I'm going to up this as I typically am sending a decent chunk of BTC at a time, but I'm stuck here with my BTC in "limbo".

My question is, how can I get MultiBit HD to either rebroadcast, or somehow manage to get this BTC back so I can resend with a higher fee? Here's 2 of my tx id's:

I'm getting this for the one of them on blockchain.info:
Transaction rejected by our node. Reason: Transaction was previously accepted but has been pruned from our database.

What are my options for next steps?

Thanks in advanced!

These both show as included in block    449976

I did do that earlier this morning. It seemed to have maybe re-broadcast the payment, but I don't know if it used the higher tx fee? It doesn't seem like it did. At what point would it just return to my wallet?
Transactions are usually dropped from most nodes mempools after ~72 hours. However if someone is rebroadcasting the transaction, it may take longer or never drop at all.

Note that the Bitcoin does not return to your wallet (you won't see any transaction or anything like that). Rather what happens is that the transaction is dropped from the mempools and thus your wallet will revert to a state where the transaction never even happened. However you may need to have your wallet clear all unconfirmed transactions in order for that to happen (some wallets will continue to rebroadcast transactions).

IIRC if you do "Repair Wallet" the unconfirmed transactions will be cleared from the wallet's memory and you will be able to resend the transactions but with a higher fee. It will be a double spend so it may still be delayed.
