normally means u tried to send a transaction. where the original funds have yet to be confirmed.
if it said "spent" instead, then that means that you tried sending the same transaction twice.

An inputs.io reimbursement transaction. They were sent without fees, so it can take a while before they get confirmed. As a consequence, any transaction that follow up will also have to wait before being confirmed.
