The tx has been finally confirmed. I use CPFP that was available after the tx appeared again in the receiving wallet.

Thx all for help!

Hi!

There is an update about the tx. Recently it appeared again in the receiving wallet, but it's still unconfirmed. Does this mean that it can be confirmed in the coming days?

It appeared again after the mempool was purging txs with low sat/vB rate.

If your transaction is rebroadcast it would still be stuck on the mempool because the current network is pretty congested.

Would you mind telling us where the BTC came from? If it was from the exchange the only thing that you can do is to wait for the fee rate to drop on the mempool.
Or your final hope is to do CPFP would you mind to try to make a transaction while its currently unconfirmed go to send page and then make a transaction to send it to your receiving address this time make sure to change the fee to prioritized.

Hi!

Its not from an exchange. It comes from Bitcoin Wallet for Android to another wallet I know.

Ok. In mempool says it is 1.2 sat/vb. Also ETA in several hours (or more).

Hope it gets confirmed before 2 weeks Wink
Too low fee paid. Currently the mempool says, the network is purging transactions under 2.2 sats/vB, so your transaction is likely to get dropped off later on rather than get confirmed.
2.2 sats/vB is not so distant from 1.2 sats/vB though if its the case. But checking mempool.space its low priority is already at 17 sats/vB so if OP's transaction is still unconfirmed i'm afraid it will get confirmed too soon. Unless pending transactions fall down, though waiting at least 2 days might be better. But if still not get confirmation, drop it, then create a new transaction with higher fee, at least the recommended fee.

Just wait and don't do anything. You can't even accelerate this transaction through viaBTC as its fee is lower than 10sat/vB.

I made the tx last Friday (March 10th), but it did not transmit until next day. So the tx remains unconfirmed since Saturday (5 days so far).
Thats quite a long time already. I hope you don't try to rebroadcast your transaction now since there's no use in doing so. Let it drop off the network automatically by next week.

Dont know the sats per byte since if I check the tx it doesnt appear on the explorer.
You can see the fee rate of your tx on mempool. Just go to "mempool.space/tx/" and you will get a fee rate column under your transaction. You can also check the average fee rate (in sat/vB) on top of the mempool to get an idea on how much fee is required to get your tx confirmed faster next time Wink

Hi.

I removed the tx from the receiving wallet and disappeared from the list. Coins disappeared too, but they did not appear in the original wallet, although by checking the address on an explorer the coins never moved. I guess I'll have to wait for the network to confirm or reject the tx. Hope it doesnt take long. Wink

I'll get back with an update when some of this happens.

Thank u for helping!
Just as expected, the coins just disappeared from your wallet but it can't be removed from the explorer just by yourself. Btw, can you tell for how long your tx is pending ? An unconfirmed transaction can remain on the mempool for 14days before getting dropped back (meaning sent back to the original sender's wallet). And how much fee size in sats per vByte did you pay? That can give us an idea to help you with the rough estimate.

I chose economic fee as I didnt care much about the confirmation time. Dont know the sats per byte since if I check the tx it doesnt appear on the explorer.

Hope this helps Wink

I dont know if this matters but the coins were transmitted and I can see them in another wallet, but the tx remains unconfirmed.
Yes, you can see the unconfirmed transaction because it is active in the mempool and self-custodial wallets generally show them to you (unlike exchanges who only show your balance after few confirmations).

If there's a "remove" or cancel feature then that would be much better to cancel it as the sent coins will return to the original wallet and you can send it again with higher tx fees for faster confirmation.
I don't think there's any feature that can "cancel" your bitcoin transaction once sent. Maybe that option will just remove the tx from his wallet but it will be still active in the network and will show back again into his wallet after it is confirmed.

Also, i will also recommend like mentioned above to use electrum or mycelium if you are a regular android user for security and safety reasons than this wallet you currently using.
Electrum is not a mobile friendly wallet. I wouldn't suggest that. Mycelium is okay. And you are forgetting the most popular one of these days which is bluewallet.

I dont know if this matters but the coins were transmitted and I can see them in another wallet, but the tx remains unconfirmed. On the other wallet I have the options to broadcast (that doesnt work) or to remove the tx. If I click on "remove", will the tx be rejected and coins appear again in the original wallet? or just it is removed from the tx list?

Thx for ur answer!
Yes, it always reflect on the receiving wallet's balance but labeled as "receiving" or "incoming" when the wallet detects any incoming transactions.

If there's a "remove" or cancel feature then that would be much better to cancel it as the sent coins will return to the original wallet and you can send it again with higher tx fees for faster confirmation.

Do u know how I can get the tx confirmed?
Now, talking about bitcoin transaction accelerator, there are free tools and paid one. I know viabtc still have free accelerator you can check it here[1] but take note that the transaction fee should be >0.0001 btc. But for your case it's probably below because you will not go here if its the case. The paid one i knew is pushtx.btc.com but they already stop their services way back 2021.
On the other hand, if RBF is not available, your only option is to wait either it drop by the network so the balance will appear again to your wallet OR it got a confirmation after days worst if weeks.

U said there is a way to back up this wallet with a seed phrase? Where can I see the seed phrase of this wallet?
All I noticed as I downloaded the wallet just now was that you can only backup the wallet file and it does not give the unencrypted option, assuming it gives the unencrypted option, you would have been able to see the seed phrase or master private key which you will be able to import on another wallet. You can not see the seed phrase on the wallet directly too, one of the reason I can not recommend anyone to use the wallet.

Wait for other people's reply.

I do not advice anyone to use that wallet because it does not have an easy way to backup your seed phrase. You can backup the wallet file, I guess, but the seed phrase backup is never easy.

I will advice you to use Bluewallet or Electrum on your Android. They both support RBF too.

I am not Bitcoin Android wallet user and I do not know if this would work, if it does not work, wait for the people that are using it, to post. On the wallet, you will see the transaction in the transaction history or so, click on it and see if you are able to see where you can pump or increase the fee.

If you are able to get your seed phrase, import it on Electrum to pump the fee. Download Electrum from the official site: https://electrum.org/#home

Which wallet is that? We have to know the wallet name, so that any of the wallet user on this forum can give you a proper guide on how you can increase the fee.
I guess this the famous bitcoin wallet by schildbach[1] and this should be moved to that board.

And as for i know, the RBF should work only have the balance on your wallet.

Hi.

I'd like help with a tx that has been unconfirmed for several days.
On an automatic response from the devs it says I can increase the fee with: transaction  > options > raise fee.
But I cant find this options whithin the app. When I select the tx the only 2 options available are "report issue" and "browse".

I use the lastest version of the wallet.
Do you know how I can raise fee (RBF) whitin the Bitcoin Android Wallet?

Thank you very much!
