If the transactions show in Electrum as pending but haven't been propagated to the network (no trace in block chain.info), is there a way of resending them?

Or do they disappear by themselves and the coins are available again?

What happens if I try to spend the coins that are stuck? Will the transaction get thru? (since the network has no knowledge of the previous stuck transaction?

You could try changing servers and see if the transaction has been seen there, if not try to recreate it.. (with a higher fee perhaps)

That's correct.
Note that this issue is solved in 1.7.2, because it does not allow you to send a transaction without fee, when a fee is required by the Bitcoin network to propagate the transaction.

Hi,

I'm using electrum 1.7 (but this issue persists for 1.71).
I've made multiple successful transactions before but I recently sent 25 coins. On the history tab, it still says pending after a good 6 hrs.

On the bottom my balance says 25 [-25. unconfirmed].

How do I check or troubleshoot this? Do I wait more?

I also believe I did not include a fee this time. Is this what screwed me up? I'm not exactly in freak out mode yet but any help would be appreciated.
