I use CGminer which has a built in clock setting system. I clock my hd5870 memory to 150mhz and it significantly reduces heat output with basically no impact on hashing speed

Interesting question. For me I underclock using TriXX utility from sapphire. It seems to work on cards made by other manufacturers, even ones from XFX, etc.

I usually underclock memory to 200 Mhz.

However recently i've been thinking there isn't really much point in doing this as the memory isn't being used and operates at such a low voltage anyways. You might aswell just keep the memory speed up just in case you need to use the computer in question.

What do you use to underclock your memory on AMD cards?  The Catalyst Control Center won't let you underclock beyond Manufacturer specifications.  I have seen a plethora of utilities but I am curious what the majority of Miners use.
