Honestly overclocking AMD GPUs are smoother on mining OS like hiveOS than windows OS, once you apply an Overclock settings you are good to go and if the OC is bad you can easily edit after crash, I have tons of AMD cards and I'm 100% sure that OC works best on hiveOS for AMD cards

I am on linux so can't use MSI afterburner etc.

Certainly its not overheated and have also not limited power, so it means they have limited VRAM to 950 forcefully. Thats sad.

On HiveOS these are the correct settings:

Core Voltage (VDD) - 640
Memory Controller Voltage (VDDCI)-620
Core Clock-965
Memory Clock-2270
Fan speed-Whatever works best for you.

For Windows do not touch the Memory Controller Voltage(don't put a value to it,leave it at default) and Memory Clock is 1135

With these settings you can do 32 Mhsh at just 50 watt in Eth mining.

This means that your first post is correct and do not mess up with powerupp application. You are good to go that way.

The "Clock frequency" under DPM3 is Memory clock however, anything I add more than 950 mhz, GPU get throttled to 500 mhz.

Now need to know how to bypass that throttling .

Any idea ?
I don't know what ideas there might be.
If the video card does not have enough power or it overheats, then throttling starts.
Until the miners learn how to change the BIOS of this video card, then I think that nothing can be done.
AMD has tried to make the video card as good as possible for gamers.

You have a RX6600 and most of this cards can´t go over 950mhz for the vram, so you can´t "bypass" a hardware limitation.

Use the original driver tool to setup your card. More is not needed. Or MSI Afterburner.

So you are seeing that this utility is not useful although it provide extensive control ?
Any utility will be useful for mining only when you can get a hashrate more than, for example, in Hive OS.
If with such a large number of settings you cannot do this, then it is useless for mining. Perhaps for other tasks, yes.
Read how the hashrate increased in the RX 5600 XT and you will understand what I'm talking about.

I can see MVDD, is that memory voltage ?
Then there is VDDCI and also I can clock frequency under DRM, is it for memory ?

I don’t understand what result you want to get from this utility. The main settings for downvolting this video card are Core Voltage (VDD) and Memory Controller Voltage (VDDCI). If you set the values too low, then the video card will stop mining, but will not turn into a brick.
I could not break the video card with the settings in the Hive OS.
To increase the hash rate, you need to change the memory strings, therefore this utility is useless.

Hi,
I have been trying from couple of days to get things working for RX6600 cards , got it working then also found right tool to overclock it. Now I am kind of confused what settings go where.

If I search around, recommended settings for RX6600 said to be

Code:
   Core Voltage (VDD): 640
    Memory Controller Voltage (VDDCI): 620
    Core Clock (CClock): 965.
Memory Clock (MClock): 2270 or 1135.

Now I got too powerupp and it has lots of settings, I can't make out which settings go where. And yes, clearly it has been mentioned that wrong settings can easily brick the card.
Here is screenshot:

Also, what is DRM1, DRM2 , DRM3, DRM4 ?
