Topic: understanding the body of content before commenting is very essential (Read 134 times)

I Know say those people wey counter me no go like show face here to comment because I dey talk the truth sometimes the truth is always bitter, my dear no need to rush and here na place to learn and a place to educate people if we no read how we go take learn and how we go take teach people or how do we learn to correct our mistakes by simply join analyzing a post through the title without reading the whole content.

Yes na true you talk, na me raise that post wey one of them go comment for my topic wey I create like that, if we now them go report us or even see us as spammer so e go better we no give them space to do anything silly because to grow here no be beans or moimoi so make we dey very careful and watchful even though we dey try to meet our weekly quota make e no look like say we dey do post bursting. The painful one be that so make we try we best to read, I for don lock this topic I say make i leave make those people wey say read the whole body of content no good so make them read see wetin them dey encourage people.

This na the problem wey many people dey get, for them to take time read the OP, and people comments dey itch them for body, but how you won take contribute for such discussion when we no know wetin the discussion dey all about. E go make sense say the more we dey tey for the forum say make we dey improve ourselves everyday by day, by giving more of our time to reading and make we no come dey lazy because say we fon dey signature campaign. No be government work wey be say you don start and nothing fit commot you from the work only death. If the OP drop link on the topic, do well to read the link, and if other forum members wey comment drop link also go through the link, this go help you know or get many things to talk for your own comment. This forum work na to read be the only work because when you read, you go know many things and improve yourself wey be say if people dey read your comment, them go know say you dey grow and you dey add value.

You bring up valid observation here. If I'm not mistaken, nah still you bring up the topic of people commenting on a thread by just reading the heading of the post. You know say in order to meet up post count, some people no dey bother to assimilate wetin the post dey try tok about and e fit make them tok out of point and e go come dey obvious say the person no do small research before him/she drop their two cents.
 E get wetin I dey observe and that nah say those people for the other boards dey put eye wella for our side and no go waste time to point out or mistake and if say them get their way them go ensure say some of us no enter any campaign and nah why we sopoz no give them wetin to tok about.

I believe we still have a few newbies or even other rank members who will find the comments and read them some days,  sincerely speaking there is no way you can be on topics without reading other members' contributions and sometimes what makes you a quality poster is your ability to bring something new to the discussions and the only way to bring a new content is to first of all know the old ones so you must read others comment,  it will help you mental alertness while constructing your own comments,  we should know better how and when to apply this when surfing through the forum.

On the issue of campaign acceptance due to low-quality posts,  well I must say that our countrymen are doing well in the forum but few have assumed everything due to the number of merits being criteria for quality posting even though merits are significant factors being considered by managers but on the long run I don't think that will be sustainable and at that point, managers will have to rely more on the quality of posts,  and glad a lot of managers are changing this day with some even rating us every week which have helped us to improve a lot.

But more still need to be done to improve the quality in here and the best possible and easy way is to engage more in reading while also writing because it becomes easy to write when you have something interesting to write about.

Well this has been argued here sometimes ago where they are saying of one must not read everything to give their own judgement..
Sincerely speaking this is what changes me because if I don't read I wouldn't know how to be creative in terms of creating my own topic and comments. Actually I wouldn't like to capitalized on this mistake rather everyone should learn their lesson from here to avoid some limitation from get accepted in most of the campaign or even sees us non quality posters.

Aside from threading the body of the post,  if you are not the first to comment on the thread,  you should endeavour to read the other people's comments on the thread if possible read all the comments unless those that are low quality off topics,  doing so will give you the background understanding and help you thought and memory to formulate your on comments.

When they say effortless post,  what that simply means is that you did not put in any extra work to give the discussion your own views and rather you just ride on repetition of what others already said.

I believe is easy to become a quality poster and the only way to do that is to read more than you write, sometimes separate the time for reading from the time for writing let say if you spend 10 hours in the forum and other online things,  you should allocate 6 hours into reading and let say the remaining 4 hours could go into writing,  that way you already have a mental integration with the various topics that are being discussed here in the forum.

That is why its very important to always read through what people are saying or even devote time to read at least what the op is saying will really help stops some forms of blind comments, like this as i see the post even self shame catch me onto say him go say na 9ja people na so dem dey comment and him dey do anything for forum him fit no pick that user onto wetin him just see for the comment. I believe him fit even pm their manager self for that comment.

The bottom line be say settle down read post, comprehend wetin the body of the message dey take before you rush go comment on something I think I been talk something like this before but them reply say e no mean, say no be everybody get time to read the whole op before commenting. Before me been dey do am but when I noticed say I no dey too flow with the whole things I begin reduce the way I do things here then I come bring mind to dey read post before commenting.

Just checked the thread in question now, me self nah part of the people way comment for their, Watin I observe for Watin happen with that users be say, eh rush go comment for their I believe say in no read through the thread finish, the person just use the title of the thread carry make in own post, and eh be like eh they in a hurry to finish am enter another place, and eh be like the person also no they use the BTT supernotifier because if him they use am, eh for no say the tool no get any effect for person account and nah just notification bot eh be.

Although I been no wan raise this issues but I really need to address am because if one finger touches oil it surely affects all. The thing is I no wan see say them ban person account for either spamming or plagiarism, abeg make we try to dey avoid post wey we no get anything meaningful to talk there, even me wey reach this level dey avoid some post wey me no sabi make e no put me trouble one day. Imagine how hard e dey for person to rank up no be wetin you go come post something wey no dey in line with the discussion for board. This matter no be only one person get this talk but na for everybody yes because we go think we sabi everything, e get wetin you go talk put yourself for inside trouble wey you no fit escape am..
