an altcoin is only undervalued if only:
1. it is not already pumped. or preferably it had a huge dump at least a month ago
2. most importantly it should have some potential. this potential can be a real thing due to its interesting project or it can be a shitty one but with a good pumping team

Every coin have some potential i think and now, after all major and non-major alts made -80-90% from June prices - all of then undervalued now ( i think )

I think it is really checking the activities of a coin that would really help you decide whether it is undervalued or not. The price whether cheap it is now, if it is active, then that will spell many things for a coin. To see if it really can be something in a few years or not.
I concur with both Karto and HEvangelista. Sound tech with a solid use case and an active dev team and community, combined with a low market cap, are major metrics for determining whether a coin is undervalued.

actually I don't really know how to calculate the coin which is undervalued but one thing that I only know is when the price is at the cheap price then I will take a look with the project, learn and read what they have, and after that I can know the coin have a value or not. if I think that the coin has a good value but now is underestimate, then I will buy the coin and save it as for investment. I am sure that in the future, the coin will rise and reach the higher price.
I guess the under value coin is base of a good perspective of its coin according to there goal, mission, and vision. We don't know what will be the exact things to happen but to look it's background and potential which is reliable.

There's no way to really know for sure if a coin is undervalued, there's no calculation that you speak of. You can look at the price history of a coin and try to understand if it's lower than previously and if so - is there a valid reason. Or you can think about where a coin is relative to its competitors and then see if it is undervalued relative to them.
In pre ICO sale we may have this doubt before investing on the concern project. We have to choose the right ICO by checking the white paper information that too will help you to learn more about the project. Hence you will be able to understand that this project will long lasting some months and going forward to make money after launched as coin.
If project does not relevant to the crypto platform. It will not survive for long term. Keep in mind before go to invest on btc.

Research project and compare it to Bitcoin. If it has something Bitcoin will never have then it is a good project. Then I guess compare price to Bitcoin and you see if is under or over valuated. I do not think there is any other way.

If you mean finding the cheapest price, it is too difficult. You should look at coins' potential and charts but and such coins may stay same in value for a long time.

I'm not sure what your question is. What coin are you talking about? There is only about 1300+ listed on CoinMarketCap & clearly even more in actual existence.
I find the best way to determine if a coin is under valued or not, is to check out the project of the coin as a whole. Look at the purpose of the coin, the roadmap and the white paper. Then see if the development of the coin is still active.
After you have done your legitimate research, the rest is a guess or a gut feeling. You can also check the historic charts of coins that have been around a while to try to determine a pattern. It may also be good to watch numerous coins on social media for news announcements. Coins regularly pump after big news.
Make a trial account on coinigy or tradingview, look through all coins change to weekly or daily chart and pick some good projects which are now at the bottom, wait some weeks or months or even longer for the pump, sell and repeat. easy
