Did you use a free service? I got snookered before by someone advertising such a service, and because of my ignorance I tipped him some dogecoin. He basically used a service that's available to anyone, and I think the threads where people ask for tips for accelerating transactions are basically looking for 1) money for something that's free, and 2) trust. I've come to realize that unless you're using a method that's your own, it's a very shady thing to do.
