thanks guys, tried to unwatch but it didn't have any effect. Maybe this is a feature that could be added by the admins?

Shortly, it's not possible. I'm using "Show new replies to your posts" and after I read all threads that I'm interested in, then I just click "mark all messages as read to make this page clean.
But I think it's better to use Watchlist where you can customize your followed topics.

Just go to your Watchlist -> Edit watchlist -> Check which posts you want to unfollow -> Click in the "remove checked" button at the bottom of the page.
Or you can also do it manually by going to each post and clicking the "unwatch" button at the top-right corner of the thread.

Then, click "mark all messages as read" at the "Show new replies to your posts" page to clear the list.

Edit: I actually need to confirm if the "Watching" function has anything to do with the "Show new replies to your posts" page.

its useless I think you can bookmark easily what you want to and you can also unbookmark this if you think its already useless for you.

Is there a way of unfollowing some of the threads I've commented on in the 'Show new replies to your posts' page? Its a really useful feature but its getting unmanageable with a full page of replies everyday.
