Technology is evolving day by day and goes forward. I think that one day "Bitcoin killer" will appear, which will be a faster, cheaper and better solution. However, I am sure that this is not yet that project and I think that nothing better than Bitcoin will appear for at least 2-3 years.

I do not agree with the term bitcoin killer i mean this is poor marketing tactic and nothing else each new project should come up with quality product and service and they will be appreciated right away rather than trying to gain cheap attraction amd attention by using the terms like bitcoin killer.

No one will kill bitcoin, even if will appear a lot of new payment system, they will never be like bitcoin and bitcoin will never dissapear. In past there was a lot of users who say bitcoin is scam, bitcoin is just a ponzi and when they see how much grow they dissapeared.

I know at least few project claiming over 100000 TPS. Nothing new here.

I think the hype here is because the coin is coming from reputable real world institutions. But is far away from being killer of anything...

I do not think that Bitcoin will suffer from this, besides, there have been quite a few attempts to kill Bitcoin, and they did not succeed. I think that the new project can be good, but Bitcoin will be the leader of the cryptocurrency market for a long time.

I think that this attempt should be treated with respect. Few scholars are trying to improve the decentralized cryptocurrency. The current cryptocurrency really needs to be improved. The situation is now quite complicated. States very poorly legalize cryptocurrency, the situation comes to a standstill. Therefore, let them work, and we'll see what they do.

Don't make my satoshi laugh. Another gang of clowns who are scattered about in loud words. Of course, you can tell people anything, let us in fact ... let them at least enter the top 10 at the CMC, then there will be conversations.

These university professors can try but they will most certainly fail. Reading about the features of this new supposed bitcoin killer, I don't think they have any chances to succeed to make anything decent. Smart contracts, high speed, sharding and what not, everything packed in a new crypto called Unit-e. Like many other alts before this one, they also will try to solve some future problems like scaling but fail to address the most important feature a good crypto must have, which is security and robustness.
