My procedure in case I want to buy coins before listing:

1. Analyze trends. Based on the analysis of the news, we understand that it can be successful.

2. We output the necessary search keys, and we are already looking for them. Any serious project will inevitably have at least one mention on the web. The beauty is that SEO is not fast, and you can often get to sales at ridiculous prices.

On a practical example

We see news about the TOR hack, with a data leak. We see news about data leaks to the FBI from WhatsApp, Viber, Signal.

We draw conclusions: in the future, the market will need a product that will technically exclude the possibility of transferring keys and information in general. In our example, these are peer-to-peer messengers.

Starting to search for: p2p messenger +with coins

Search results: Utopia Ecosystem, Briar, FireChat.

We look at whether they have coins and an offer on the market, evaluate the organization, make a purchase decision or move on.

The beauty of the method is that it allows you to take something really worthwhile in the future, and not just any garbage.

Also, based on the analysis of trends in meme coins, you can take famous characters and look for coins with their mention. The method is also quite a working one.

Would love to know about how to buy new unlisted crypto currencies. Thanks.

When it comes to new projects that are not yet listed on exchanges, you can usually buy during pre-sale direcly from developers (ICO, IEO etc.), or you can use decetralized exchanges and simply buy from other people. When it comes to P2P trade be very careful and never send money first, always use a trusted escrow.

This is your first and only post in the forum, so I will assume that you are a newbie not only by rank but by knowledge too. As your question has been already answered (and pretty well) by other users, I won't insist in that point. Some others have already warned you about the high risks linked to the purchase of new, unlisted, cryptos. But, just in case you don't know yet, every single day plenty of new unlisted coins are created from thin air, and it means that MOST of them won't be ever worth a dime.

I insist in that idea because it is possible that you think that Bitcoin, Ethereum and other main cryptos are mature enough to make a 100x overnight, which in most cases is true, but it is risky to think that you will be able to find a new non listed gem among so many options, if you are not really crypto-savvy at least.

In my case, I don't consider myself that way and, therefore, I don't even dare to think I will find it for sure: that's the reason why I mainly stick to high cap cryptos, and I target just a very little percentage of my portfolio to brand new unlisted coins.

This is not financial advice, just an explanation of what I think most veteran members in this forum do, many being even maxis (i.e.: those who only hodl BTC).

all of them will have the same opinion, as said by the forum members above. which in essence is careful so that the OP is not wrong to buy new tokens (joining an ICO) but keep in mind your profits are in accordance with the risks that will be faced because of 10 maybe only one or two managed to make us a lot of profit

1. If you meant about crypto that got delisted from exchange site and it's better to not buy it as it will become another abandoned coin

2. If you meant about a new token before it will be listed in exchange site and then you can try to buy that when ico will begin. The only question is whether you have been agreed to deal with the risk? i meant when you're buying a new coin and then you may get a good ROI or otherwise you will be loosing your money when it will be losing its value as it will be traded below the ico price.

You can buy that through participate in the ico sale or private sale which will give you to buy coin before it will be listed in exchange site. There are bunch of tutorials in internet about how to participate in the ico.

You will encounter two very common problems among others, at least these two I know:

1. A newly created token which has not been listed may be locked in the wallet. The owner will not be able to send to anybody and this is coded into the smart contract for a specific date when the token unlocks. This is to prevent the specific grey market that you are actually interested in. Token advisory team usually does this and they dump before the retail investors actually get any wind of what happened.

2. There is no guarantee that buying those tokens early before trading starts on exchanges means that you get a upper hand. Yes you might benefit from the first flip but are you going to bet on being able to catch the first wave, because you are not going to be alone there.

Also the risk involved in getting into projects that are vaporware are very high. You might buy some shitcoin and end up with your money stuck in a worthless asset. There are other places to invest and this is defenitely not a wise choice.

You can buy unlisted tokens on the OTC market. Also on the Bilaxy exchange they often start trading for tokens that are not yet available anywhere else.

On the private market you can buy coins that are unlisted. But usually is a vesting period where you will get coins over a year. Like CERE was able to get before listed. But 25% TGE and the rest over a year.

Please be aware of the risk of what are you asking , but if this is just for your curiosity then there is no sense for answering .

Unlisted coin is something like you created your own , why need to buy unlisted when you can pay someone to create a coin for you.

What's the purpose?

I don't think that there's sense of buying those unlisted coins. If an exchange removed them for a particular reason like they're about to die and no longer have a sustainable volume.

Then it's good to let it go and be dead.

But if you insist to buy them, search for those unlisted coins made for example by binance and search the other exchanges where they're still listed.

Do you understand that there is a big risk in buying coins without a real market price?
Usually, the owner of the coin wants his product to be valuable and most often overestimates it. In 99% of cases, just after listing coin to any exchange, its value falls up to 90%.
As I know, it is possible to buy them directly from the team in most cases through their media channels (Telegram, Discord etc...). you have to be very careful here, you can easily be deceived by fake team members.

certainly, I say again, the probability that you will be deceived or that you will overpay some coin is 99%.
