Hi. I'm new in the Bitcoin and trading world so I might use incorrectly some terms.
I've been trading using Bitmex and there's this thing ''Unrealised PNL (ROE %)'' that I thought to be the profit I would have if closed the position at that time however sometimes I close it with a positive value and end up facing loss. Also sometimes right when I create a position I have a ROE of high values (2%, 3%, sometimes even higher, depending on how active the market is, I believe) and that doesn't make sense. I still believe it is supposed to be the profit (unrealised profit and loss [?]) so why those false values? If it's a complex answer I'm fine if you only provide a few search terms for me to look up.

Thanks!
