So I have my wallet with a few different addresses and I've migrated to the new version of the Blockchain.info wallet.
...

It's not quite related but I started a thread about how big a pain in the neck  The New Blockchain Wallet is
in that it lacks certain features as opposed to  old (legacy wallet). Also in that thread I expressed my opinion
about their support team.

Well its about time you start managing your own wallet now and don't let a third party do it. If you have the private keys of all of your addresses (which of course you should have) then simply install electrum and import the addresses of blockchain wallet to electrum, electrum supports up to 2000 addresses as far as I know. This way you start a new journey, a pretty safe journey compared to the blockchain and you are fully in charge of your bitcoins different from blockchain wallet which you have to connect through their website. This looks a good idea to me, I would have done this in this situation.

I don't know if that could help you, but have you tried restoring your wallet with your mnemonic pass phrase?
Since you have access to your account:  log into your Blockchain wallet, go to Account Settings, and click on Passwords, your mnemonic should be there.

EDIT: This is somewhat a reason why I don't want to upgrade my blockchain wallet to new version. Because s*** like this could happen.

if it was a bad private key, you would get the error when trying to import it. and blockchain.info wouldnt be able to tell you the balance as it wont beable to read the private key to translate the public key.

so if its showing a balance but not letting you spend it.. then its nothing wrong with the private key. but instead how blockchain.info is coded.

i say this because your screenshot appears to be on the transaction page not the import private key page. so based on that i feel it is a fault on blockstreams part.

if however it is related to an error appearing when you import the key.. check you didnt copy it, but accidentally including a space before or after what you highlighted to copy, i have seen a few online services error out due to a simple space typed in before or after the key

Thanks for your reply!

Just to clarify... the address with the problem is one generated IN blockchain.info... I'm not importing anything... It's an address generated in the wallet that I've used several times in the past... it's a complete WTF

I assume it's blockchain.info's problem... but I hope it's something they can somehow fix... otherwise I'm fucking screwed............

last tip:
if anyone is personal messaging you to tell you they are an expert and can help, all they need is the private key you used for them to check it.
or if they tell you a website to go to to check it that you have not heard of before... DONT give it.

the other option is just to use a different and proper bitcoin wallet.
remember the funds are not locked into blockchain.info account.. they are locked into the private key. so use the private key on a proper wallet

Hello.

Before anything, I've already contacted Blockchain.info support but I got no answer after more than 24hs.

So I have my wallet with a few different addresses and I've migrated to the new version of the Blockchain.info wallet.

I have a second password, so every time I need to send BTC, the system asks me for my second password.

My problem is that I have an specific address in my wallet that when I try to move BTC from there and it asks for my second password the wallet prompts an error saying "Unsupported Key Format"...

You can see the error here:

http://imgur.com/Efjs5rm

and it's the address where I have majority of my funds (95%)...

W T F

The second password is the same for the whole wallet and I know it's correct because it works if I move BTC from other addresses... is this specific address that is giving me this error. And btw, it's an address that I've used several times in the past with the wallet!

Has anyone experienced something like this???

Any ideas on what's happening here??

I haven't change NOTHING. My passwords are OK... it seems like a fucking error on their side!

I'm waiting for an answer from their support (I praying for their answer) but in the meantime any help or comments will help me to avoid enter in PANIC.
