I'm sure you do sell lots, just couldn't help seeing in the irony of that post. "Wider world" is fine, but then OpenBazaar is still new and about as far as you can get from mainstream buyers at the moment. It's primarily been adopted by hardcore bitcoin users so far

True, but it's still a wider category than "core Bitcointalk crowd". From what I see, OB presents a compelling use case that is drawing more people into Bitcoin - people that previously had no reason to use it whatsoever and could not be bothered to hang out on the internet forums.

...Once you get out into a wider world, you can find more demand...

...either here or on OpenBazaar...

I think you should lower your prices a bit. 2.5 BTC for a 2013 brass 1 BTC is a bit much. The prices on your silver coins are way too high as well.

Actually, I already made a few sales. So, you may just as well say that the prices here at Bitcointalk are a bit depressed. Probably, this is because all the original Casascius buyers are still here, creating oversupply. Once you get out into a wider world, you can find more demand.

That being said, I'm open to reasonable counter-offers on most coins via PM - either here or on OpenBazaar.

Casascius 2012 5 BTC green firstbits nickel generated quite a bit of interest. However, the market seems to be unsure about a fair price for this rare coin. In order to publicly establish its current market price, I decided to run a 2-week no-reserve auction. Anyone who inquired about this coin privately is encouraged to participate.
