Yes, I blacklisted the kernel module for WiFi, but in principle some malware could sneak in and reactivate it.

I am not that paranoid, even with current prices my stash is not big enough to warrant the development of malware targeting my RPi specifically.  Grin

But I should probably blacklist the Bluetooth modules as well...

EDIT: Even the RPi 1 is not *frustratingly* slow.  It maybe takes half a minute to start Armory, and a tx with many inputs may take 45 seconds to sign.  Enough that you start wondering when it will finish, but still less than the time spend on swapping USB sticks etc. Smiley

RPis are slow for crypto, but super compact and simple - ideal for cold storage operations IMO.
The latest model is not even particularly slow, it signs a transaction within a second or two.  The initial RPi required a bit more patience ...

For the Pi3? I was tempted to try it, but the Pi3 includes onboard Wifi and Bluetooth, so I thought the Pi2 would be better for cold storage (if not frustratingly slow). I imagine the original Pi would be nearly unusable.

Second (or third) this! I've been hoping 96.3/4 will have a rPi offline release. RPis are slow for crypto, but super compact and simple - ideal for cold storage operations IMO.

Yes, thank you goatpig! I ask not to bother, but because I find this project and your work on it extremely valuable and useful! Once again, thank you.

I've been slacking on that, I'll deal with it at some point.

Is there any plan to release an updated offline bundle for raspberry pi? The last offline bundle (0.93.3 release) appears to be be incompatible with the now Jessie-based Raspbian OS.
