"BITANTHILL" - Cryptocurrency Gaming Platform
Hi, Dear Bitcointalk users.

For a long time there was no information from us. At the moment, we have completed full testing and are waiting for the verification of our application in the AppStore. This may take more than a few weeks, as they check our license and company. So we need to be patient.

Immediately after checking, if there are no additional nuances from the side of the Apple, we will be happy to introduce our platform to the whole world.

Stay tuned  Smiley

P.S. If you want to support our project, here are our Bitcoin and Ethereum wallets.

BTC - 1FcfcVZ8RYrPTDahHwjScDAAyTnptsYG6K

BCH - qz966nuqluvakf53xjxuwgjpmr8td2cc6gacs6vwm0

ETH - 0x4f3385cc1ed29e0f5c1b72b8600c599d128f5687

XRP - rMf36FfaXnV6PZWhJQA6QkR1hTgeQgeijZ

We remind you that we finance our entire project at our own expense (without ICO and IEO). And any of your support is very valuable to us. Of course, everyone who donates funds for the development of our platform will be rewarded.

But moral support is also valuable to us. Thanks to all.

Any updates? It's been a month since the video was posted and no more info.

Looking forward to PvP backgammon.

Was going to put in for the beta, but my work schedule would probably keep me from playing on a regular basis.

-Dave

Hi, Dave.

We have already completed the first stage of testing among those who left their applications by e-mail. Now we are fixing errors found during testing and will soon announce the launch of the application.

I remind you once again that we do everything exclusively at our own expense, because the development process may not go as fast as we would like, but we are already at the finish line.

Thank you!

I do not think that people really want to play this kind of game. May be at the first launching people will try to play and make some fortune but to keep on staying on pvp based site. I do not think many of them are going to do it unless there is something interesting on their site but as far as I concern , this site is pretty backgammon site which let people play fight on each other just as simple as that

Any timeline for this? Days / weeks / months?
No that it matters but it looks like a fun project and I do like the backgammon aspect so it's just more for me to know when to poke in again to check progress.

Thanks,
Dave

Good afternoon!

Thank you for your interest. On Tuesday, the first promo/gameplay-video of the project will be published. In about a week, beta testing will begin. Send an application for participation in the test by mail - [email protected] and you will immediately receive a notification about the start of public testing.

As for the full launch, this will happen after the public beta test and we expect to launch in September.

the paltform looks good , glad you didn't go the ICO-IEO way and decided to invest your own money
this gives +100 to the project legitimacy in my eyes
please, consider lowering the house edge or the fees
if I understood correctly , you are planning to set a 10% fee on backgammon games
this is quite high and I don't expect many to bet 0.5 eth on a PVP game , the stakes will be lower , speaking of which , what is the minimal bet that you plan on setting?
as a huge fan of dice , I want to know what the house edge will be and will it be a usual provably fair dice with 1000 sides or something new?

Really nice to know that they didn't hold IEO nor ICO.
It means, they have funds to begin with.
But I wish their bankroll has sufficient funds to last this site longer than its contemporary gaming sites.
And doge to be their next altcoin to be accepted on their platform.

Only bitcoin and ethereum was accepted maybe good Idea to add more like XRP, litecoin and dogecoin who also favorite coin of the player to use when they play and also me. I only know the 2 games not the other games and Im not familiar for the 2 remaining games. Need more features to add to catch the attention of the player and do something new about your gambling does no one the other to become very unique.

Good day!

Thanks for your reply.

Support for only 2 cryptocurrencies is due to the fact that at the initial stage of the platform operation it will be very difficult to provide gaming liquidity for a large number of currencies. In particular, in the game "Backgammon". I will explain in more detail:

As you know, backgammon will have its own game lobby, in which each user will create a table and indicate the currency and the amount for which he would like to play. With a large number of game currencies, at the initial stage it will be very difficult for players to find a partner, because there may not be as many players as we would like. And in this case, the following situation will turn out: each player will create tables in his own currency, and in the lobby there will be a huge number of rooms in which, possibly, no one will play, since each player wants to play only on what he has and not make no exchanges.

Adding new currencies will occur when a sufficient number of games in existing ones are provided. Our goal is to give people the opportunity to play right after he created the table. We don't want to do make 15 cryptocurrency and make them wait for their opponent all day. For this type of platform, at the initial stage, 2 cryptocurrencies are a lot. In the beginning, we thought about making our own token and making a game for it, and already inside the platform, exchanging it for other currencies, at a certain rate. But later we abandoned this idea, because the user wants to play for the currency that he has and when the courses change during the game, everyone can get a not quite full profit from the game. Therefore, in the end, it was decided to release a platform with the 2 most popular cryptocurrencies, in order to avoid problems with calculations and make everything as transparent as possible, both for the user and for us.

I hope you understand me. If you have additional questions, please contact us.

I think this is a great crypto gaming platform from experienced founder to a great choice of games. I am sure bitanthill will next in line of one of the top gaming platform here in crypto. They also accept top coins that most of the gambler are now holding so it more accessable to many gamblers. I hope they can add more games like card games such an poker.

I agree the platform looks good and the team seems experienced in terms of the games that it developed and has planned to which I think is the right direction for the team to focus on.
I like how adaptable they've become by accepting several coins while allowing the user to experience all the games in its full glory. Poker is now a game that many people are trying out and developing one would surely lead to more traffic  Cheesy

Thanks for your reply. Yes, poker is really quite an interesting game. But at the start, our platform will include backgammon and dice. At the moment we are financing everything with our own funds and the development of poker at the initial stage is not included in our plans (as we do not have enough funding for this). Although in the future, maybe we will return to this issue and add poker to the list of our games.

About bots.
Yes, it really is a problem. Recognizing a live player and bot is quite difficult. Our experts are now working on this problem. Since our platform will be only for mobile platforms, it seems to us that it will be more difficult to connect and use a bot to them. Although, unfortunately, I do not have a definite answer to this question.

If you have any thoughts on this matter and you can provide us with practical advice - we will only be glad of this.

A quick trick to catch a simple bot for something like this is a time. A human will think about a move. A bot will always have the answer in a fraction of a second. If you see that its a bot
The bot programmer then sets the time to a random number and you loose this but it's a start.

The 2nd check is the amount of time online If Alice is online from IP 1.2.3.4 from 00:00 to 06:00 and Bob is on from 06:01 to 12:00 and Chris is on from 12:01 to 18:00 and Dave is on from 18:01 to 23:59 and then Alice comes back, it's probably a bot. No one IP or subnet is going to be on like that.

The next bot check is the perfect play, this requires more logging. Even master players will make a mistake every 850 to 1500 moves according to a lot of people. No mistakes after 5000 moves. It's either a bot or Masayuki Mochizuki

-Dave

Thanks for the suggestions. This will help make your application better.

Looks interesting. What is your rake / commission going to be?

Some thoughts:

How will you handle aborted games? Such as Alice and Bob are playing backgammon. Bob is loosing, so he just stops playing, closes the app and walks away. The game never finishes so what happens to the BTC going to Alice for having won.

How will you handle bots? There are some bots that play backgammon perfectly. You always have the chance aspect because of the dice, but I can still have a bot kick ass for me and clean up taking BTC from the casual players.

-Dave

Hi, Dave. Thank you for your reply.

We planning to set standard 10% commission for each backgammon game. For example - Alice and Bob playing backgammon with 0.5 ETH bet (for each player), after game was finished, winner will get 0.9 ETH (1 ETH - 10% platform commission).

About aborted games.
All players in backgammon have a limited time for move. 15 seconds to standard move (this time is updated with each new dice throw) and 60 additional seconds for all game (time its not updated). If you did not make a move in time (during the standard 15 seconds), then the countdown of additional time begins. If the extra time expires and the player does not have time to make a move - he is automatically considered the loser. But, important things. Additional time need only for "fors major" situations (slow connections, other problems), if a player intentionally closes the game and our game server sees a disconnect, then the player who has disconnected will be considered the loser. There is no other option here. So in your example, Alice will receive the winning amount that was at stake (minus the platform commission), and Bob will not receive anything.

Wow, this site looks really great. I just like the look of it, very simple but really great. But they are not functioning yet. It seems like the site is still under development, will wait till they have finished up with it to see how it's going to be then. Hope they maintain the good work and keep the site's simple interface. And I also hope that they are going to update us here once they are done with the project, cause here they didn't even say that it was still under development. Should have said it was under development… well, I just reserved it for till when they are ready.

Hi.

Seems like a great concept to me. I am honestly tired of losing money playing dice against the house which is why pvp dice is something I am looking forward to. I have played such cash games against other people on GSN and other similar sites before and had fun which is why it is good to see something similar in the crypto space. I don't know much about Backgammon or Narde though. All the best op.

If I understood correctly you are only focusing development of the mobile versions for your platform and there wont be any desktop versions ever in the future? Is there any particular reason for not having a desktop platform?

Yes that's right.  The desktop version is not planned yet, because the main games on the platform will be board games (for example, backgammon, etc.). And in board games, all such, it is much more convenient to play on mobile devices (the banal movement of checkers on the game table, it is much more convenient to make a finger than with a mouse or trackpad).

But we do not refuse to scale our platform.  Perhaps after launch we will make a desktop version too.  But at the moment, in financial terms, we can not afford to run mobile and desktop version right away.

This one isnt operational yet and its still on development state so better move this out on Project Development section.

Thanks for your reply.  Yes, our project is still in development, but at the moment we are starting to accept applications from users, who would like to test it as beta testers.  If you think that this should be in another branch, then please tell me how to transfer it there.
Moving it to another section isn't hard, although I am not sure whether it's necessary. It's true that when a project is published here, it's usually at least in Beta-version, but this section has more people potentially interested in the project than Project Development. Your choice, of course. To move the thread, just go to the end of the first page of the thread, and look near the corner at the bottom on the left side. It should have a "Move topic" button. I think after you click it, you'll manage to understand the rest of the process.
As for the website - I am interested to see a new licensed casino, and if you simply need people to test the user experience, I could do that. In fact, you can just make the website available in this very thread and ask people to test it for symbolic welcome bonuses on your website. I am sure some people will agree to do that.

I would not really like to move the topic, since our project will soon receive a beta version, but I also would not want to break something or prevent someone.  I am new to this forum and if the community considers that this topic should be in another place, I will gladly move it.

Well, I hope there's for laptop or pc version soon aside from the mobile app. Trying now to test this kind of gambling platform on the app. As of now, building trust to the player is needed before they deposit their money.

Thank you for your comment.  Send an application for testing to the email [email protected], testing will begin in the near future and it is completely free (you will not have to contribute your own money to play).  In the future, after launch, players will also be able to play for free using in-game coins.  If the game is like for them - they can replenish their game wallet and play on the real BTC and ETH.

So your project is to make a gambling application where users need to download and install it on the application? It sounds interesting but bear in mind that people especially gamblers prefer to gamble on their PC/Notebook instead of on their mobile phone at least for whales who are spending a lot of money on gambling. I don't think whales will be interested to use your gambling platform, but maybe I'm wrong. Based on my own experience while gambling through mobile application (poker game) as there are many local poker sites offering mobile application, but I can say that gambling through desktop is better. Of course it will be based on how great the application you have as well as it is based on our own preferences about to gamble on an app or on desktop. Are you planning to make it available on browser as well or are you focusing on the app only?

Thank you, for your reply. Yes, at the moment we are focused on making our platform accessible for iOS and Android users.  Perhaps you are right in some ways that some users prefer the game in a browser or on a computer, but I think we are moving into an era of mobile technologies (the same Apple using the iPad, is trying to replace the computer soon).
As for poker, for example, it is much more convenient for me to play Poker Stars mobile client than to the desktop one.  But this is a matter of taste.  We do not strive at the moment to compete with online casinos.  We would like to give users the opportunity to play board games with each other and charge for it a commission like poker rooms. Of course, we will also have simple games (like dice), but we are not planning the slot for machines or roulette.  As for the browser version, there is no problem to release it (since we have a good backend with our own API), and if there is a need and interest from users, we will do so.  Although, I'm not sure that backgammon will be more convenient to play on the computer than on the iPhone and iPad.

Although once again I remind you that our main goal is the creation of a mobile platform.

The project seems very interesting with the ant concept. I will keep an eye on this thread and getting an Android platform or IOS platform is much more recommended because as you all know that almost 80% users from around the world are mostly on mobile phones. And being on mobile phones also make their daily life much easier we can also quickly switch between buy Bitcoin life and their personal life that also allows them to try gambling application in their phone.

Thank you for your comment.  At the moment, the application is developed exclusively as a mobile platform.  The launch of the web version is not planned, because we want to provide people with a new experience of interacting with cryptocurrency games.

Stay tuned for updates, the first promo-video will be published soon Wink

This platform sounds interesting with a project that could really take off with the right team and enough money. I hope that you guys can rise enough money to make this mobile app because I think many people would appreciate the accessibility.

Hi. Thank you for your comment.  At the moment, the game is already ready at about 80% and now the build process is under iOS and initial testing.  We expect that in the next few weeks we will be able to start BETA testing for users who will send the applications to our mail address.  As for the funds, we have enough funds to run the application, in the form we described above.

But of course, it would not be bad to attract additional funds for an advertising campaign and the future scaling of the application.  But I repeat that at the moment we mainly rely on ourselves, our strength and launch of the platform will take place anyway.

Thanks for your reply.  Yes, our project is still in development, but at the moment we are starting to accept applications from users, who would like to test it as beta testers.  If you think that this should be in another branch, then please tell me how to transfer it there.

"BITANTHILL" - Cryptocurrency Gaming Platform

!!!FIRST PROMO VIDEO ADDED!!!

Good afternoon, dear users of the bitcointalk forum.
I am one of the founders of the company BITANT Games OÜ, which is officially registered in Estonia and is in the process of obtaining a crypto-license (you can see more information about company in the public registry - https://ariregister.rik.ee/index?lang=eng).

At the moment, our company is developing a mobile gaming platform “BITANTHILL” for iOS and Android, with which users can play board games with each other (and not only), using cryptocurrency as payment methods.

What will the platform be?

In general, the platform is conceived as a convenient alternative to cryptocurrency gaming sites, allowing users to conduct cash games between themselves by paying a fixed commission for each game. Of course, this does not mean that platform will not have be single-player games with random events, but we hold the opinion that the game against a real opponent, and not a computer (number generator) looks more interesting.

What games will be on the platform?

At the start, platform will be 3 games available:
Backgammon, Narde (long backgammon, rus: "Длинныe нapды") and Dice.

This choice of games is due to the fact that Backgammon is one of the oldest and most popular board games on the planet, as well as the fact that, unlike Chess or Checkers, backgammon has an element of chance that can even allow an experienced player to lose. Backgammon and Narde were chosen as the main ones on the platform also because it will allow users from different countries to become interested, as Narde is played more in the post-Soviet space, and Backgammon in the rest of the world.

As for DICE, this game has now become very popular among the cryptocurrency community and not adding it as a first game with random chances would be just silly.

In the future, the list of available games will be expanded.

What currencies will be available for play?

Users on platform, will be play on Bitcoin, Ethereum, as well as GOLD internal game currency (I want to note right away that “GOLD” is not a token or cryptocurrency, these are common in-game chips that are created for entertainment and games between users (in the absence of interest or the possibility of playing for real currency)).
Such a choice of currencies is due to the fact that at the initial stage it will be very difficult to ensure a high number of players, and by adding a lot of currency pairs, players may simply not meet each other in the game lobby. Over time, and with an increase in the number of active users, the list of currencies will be expanded.

What other features will be implemented on the platform?

On the platform will be implemented mini-tournaments consisting of 4 players. Each of the participants in the tournament will make a certain contribution and play the total jackpot among themselves. Also, do not forget about the global rating of players and the free wheel of fortune, with which you can get real cryptocurrency.

What is the purpose of this text and when will the platform appear in the public domain?

This text was written in order to familiarize the participants of the cryptocurrency community with our project, as well as to ask you to take part in its BETA-testing.

At the moment, the platform is already being tested by our experts and in the near future we will be able to start open testing of the iOS version. If you want to take part in testing, please send your Apple ID email to [email protected] or to me in private messages on this forum. We will add you as a TestFlight tester and you will be the first to get acquainted with the platform. The start date of open testing will be announced shortly.

Cooperation

At the moment the project is financed from its own funds and does not plan to conduct ICO, IEO, etc. The funds that our team has is quite enough to launch it independently in the form described above, as well as to ensure its initial promotion (within reasonable limits). But this does not mean that we are closed from cooperation and investment offers. We are happy to accept a reliable partner (or partners) to the team, if we find common points of contact and understand that with your help, we will be able to develop faster and better.

If you are interested in cooperation or investment, please email us at [email protected]
We will definitely consider your offer and contact you.

We will be happy to answer all your questions. Stay tuned!
