It's a very interesting "easter-egg" bonus. Tongue

It's not everyday we see a crypto casino rewarding their users with 40$ bucks without any further requirements from their side in order to claim the money. I hope more casinos launch similar promotions and that Stake continues doing this more often. But it would be great to know what we have to do to become eligible to receive the rewards, or maybe you have to be lucky to be picked by the platform as a winner?

Congratulations to every winners! 40$ is a welcome prize. I can imagine the sensation of receiving such great news through email and concluding it's not a phising attempt. Cheesy

Well, it turned out that Stake decided to pay out $40 to anyone that made bets for 5 consecutive days in a certain period....
Was this information confirmed? Does it include any bet sizes? No minimum wager requirements?

Yes, this was a strange bonus.. and a highly discussed topic in the chat. People are asking why some people got it and what they got it for .. and others did not get it. Well, it turned out that Stake decided to pay out $40 to anyone that made bets for 5 consecutive days in a certain period.... Why they decided on that.. could not be answered.

Now, people are saying it is unfair and that nobody knew about that.. so nobody prepared for it. I say, those who got it were just lucky... and others should learn from that... do some small regular Sport bets and you might be one of the lucky few to get it next time.  Roll Eyes

It's a nice coincidence to get a gift from the site. But is it a gift only for you or are there gifts for other users?

I am registered on the Stake site and I receive many email messages, but honestly I do not open them all. I do not know if I received an email containing a $40 bonus. I will check my email and I may find it.

Some companies send many e-mail messages as propaganda, so I don't care much about reading all of these e-mails. Also, there are phishing messages, so for security reasons, I do not open all messages.

I checked my emails and checked all the recent Stake emails but unfortunately, I cannot find that $40 bonus, maybe I'm not qualified and not everybody can receive this bonus, but at least they should mention in their email why they receive the bonus so other players will be motivated to reach that qualification and if they are qualified and have not received this bonus then they can file a complaint.
Congratulations to those lucky ones who received this bonus, it will motivate them to choose Stake as their main casino.

It made me look at my email with my account there and thought that I've received some bonus as well since there's this email that has "bonus" on the title but it's not the same email of what OP and bitbollo received. I guess it's for specific users that have received that bonus and email and lucky you are guys that stake gave you a bonus and free $40.

It is a bonus for what, they should state what the bonus is for, so we will not be guessing what is intended for and those who received will not wonder, there is always a qualification why they receive this bonus and I wonder why on Russian language, maybe because the majority of those who received are Russians so they send through the Russian language to save time and effort on classifying who to send, this buzz alone is a good promotion for Stake.
On the 2nd post of OP, it's not really an intended bonus as said but since they've already sent it to selected users, that means that they're free to keep it and they're generous on that part for those users that have sent the $40. We don't need to guess, those that are eligible for that might just be lucky to be selected by their system.

Here is the part of my email that confirms I have received it and I made a typo above it is not 0.0023 but it was 0.002388 which was exactly 40 dollars at that time. Also I have not wagered much this week but in total I have wagered a lot last year so most likely this bonus is aimed to the persons who have wagered more than 5000-7000 dollars during the last year I assume, anyway below the pic.

Hmmm. I wager more than that amount before but I’m not active on Stake anymore for a year. I didn’t received this kind of promotional email even though I’m consistently receiving email of there promotion.

I believe this just an error for selected users that is active on Stake for certain period of time that wager specific amount. They are sending in local russian language means this promotion possibly intended for Russian players yet they mistakenly sent to everyone that meet the requirements for this bonus.

Congrats

I am not Russian and the email as you see is in plain English.Nevertheless I went and lose them all on my favorite slot machine Green Knight from Play n Go,it is the second time this machine goes to over 500 spins without giving the bonus but I knew this so who cares it was just a bonus for me to go from 28% remaining to the next VIP level to 26% remaining now as I did not last long and lost everything in less than half hour playing with the minimal bet, over 38 dollars with a 0.10 bet being lost in less than 30 minutes only Play n Go provider can do that and no I am not blaming them, that is why I love them, the volatility is not high as they claim,it should be extremely extremely high  Grin.

at first I thought it was a phishing email but after a while I saw the original email sent from Stake.com and I tried to click on the link and in the end it was true it was a $40 bonus given by Stake.com to its customers.

I was also notified by some friends who use the Stake.com site and they got a bonus of $ 40 which was sent a bonus notification via email, I don't know if the bonus is real or my own scammer and some friends who got it didn't know what was clear after the claim was made really get the bonus and enter the site's wallet.
But I myself didn't get the notification in the email and after I checked it wasn't there, whether the bonus was given randomly or how we don't know and only the Stake manager decides.
Im trying to understand the contents of the email in Russian, it seems like it's a bonus for gamblers who actively bet for 5 consecutive days in casino betting and sports betting.
if one of the gamblers does not get the bonus it is likely that he did not place any bets on the Stake.
that's just my opinion, sorry if wrong.

a suggestion to the OP, better lock this thread and we move the discussion here Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊

My email had a surprise, a very scary looking email all in Russian, except I knew how to read the "$40". It seemed like obvious, dangerous phishing spam, but the "raw data" in the email headers showed it was sent from Stake's legit email address. The link leads to the actual Stake site, and I was already logged in, not needing to give out a password. Very odd, but a real nice little surprise:

$40 bonus isn't bad at all. But why do you get it? is it only for Russian users?

I just verify my mail and looks like that bonus wasn't for all, but congrats again for your Bonus.

In the past few days I have been getting emails by Roobet offering free spins, I haven't taken any of those but maybe in the next one I will hit the bait.

Look at swogerino's comment above. It seems like the bonus was only sent to people who have wagered and crossed a certain threshold. The bonus is not for anyone, and even I haven't received anything in my email regarding this $40 bonus. Also, I'm not expecting anything from Stake anyway as I'm not that active on betting this past year.

Promotions by mail are tricky and are hard to trust because a lot of them are scams and there is a big risk for us to lose our money and even lose our accounts.

Which is why I think what OP did is great, as he sought confirmation from other forum members if they have received the same bonus offering in the same manner as he did. Luckily, someone confirmed that Stake indeed offer these bonuses and that he's in the clear. With all the hacks and scams going around lately, it won't hurt to be a skeptic.

update: Looks like I got a lucky freebie, this email came ~2.5 hours later.

"Hi 'Blockstock',
The previous email you were sent from Stake was sent in Russian, which was not intended.

Stake is a global company & a lot of communications are localized.

Luckily, the bonus sent in that email is valid for you and only you, so please feel free to claim that bonus.

Rest assured this was sent by us and is a legitimate email. We apologize for the inconvenience and we hope you’re having a great new year."

// Question answered, thank you Stake for being the most generous casino!
After reading the OP, I've been scrolling through my mails to see if I could find such email message, but unfortunately, i cant find any email from stake with this type of bonus.

And I think the highlighted part is self explanatory, the bonus was for you and you alone, by this, I believe that even if there are other gamblers that got this same bonus, there wont be many of you and some others might not even be on this forum.

So to that effect, I would say congratulations champ, enjoy you $40 mate, you might as well deserve it if we check the amount of money you've wagered.
Been checking my email after reading this and also checked the spam, there's no $40 for me OP did not mention his level or about his wager for him and Bitbollo to qualify but I'm sure they are not just two, Stake has thousands of players and they are handpicked because of their qualification, we don't know about the qualification because there's nothing on the email they received.
I'll still wait until tomorrow to see if there's a bonus that will arrive. Anyway, congratulations to both of you and those who received the bonus, there's nothing like getting unexpected surprise because you are qualified.

These are somemof tye major reasons stake come has remained one of the best casinos so far.
Congratulations to you guys that got the prizes and I hope you can publicize this and also let people know how good and generous stake is.
One thing I've observed after taking time to be with stake is the fact that they're really good at marketing and this is one of the highest marketing strategy so far.
I came across a post recently talking trash about stake and I quickly had to talk ill of that because we know how faithful stake has been

I got an email from Stake 43 minutes ago exactly telling me about this 40 dollars,so it is from [email protected] but I am not yet a VIP level, need about 28% to wager more until I reach that level but I think it is a nice surprise this bonus which I am going to claim absolutely as soon as I go home.It is not in Russian and in plain English where they ask apologies and ask me to click that link.I believe since it is from their domain it should be nothing to worry and even if it is a phishing attempt I have 2FA enabled so hackers cannot really do anything as they also do not have access to my email.

Wow going to play some slot machines for free this afternoon.

Edit-I just got 0.0023 Bitcoin to play there, brilliant.

Usually I do not click on these type of emails due to phishing tactics from hackers especially when it says claim a bonus from a casino site and makes you click a link. Because obviously they can and will see your login information and once clicked they can get your casino account's password quite easily when the person has it saved in the device's profile. Even an off chance of a keylogger being placed on the victim's device without them knowing can also be a likely scenario.
Luckily I have the email address connected to this casino on an email address where I do not get notifications immediately so I completely missed the original email so did not click on anything to do with this bonus.
I did see the following email 2.5 hours later and see it is a valid bonus email and claimed the $40.
But a bonus given from a casino by a mistake made?
It is quite confusing for those not knowing what this is about.
-snipped-
So to that effect, I would say congratulations champ, enjoy you $40 mate, you might as well deserve it if we check the amount of money you've wagered.
It seems that not everybody received this bonus email. As from their sportschat they are discussing about it as well and not everybody receives email's from stake or they completely blocked them for some reason or another. In regards to much spam of promotions?
Who knows.
Maybe there was a wagering requirement so to receive this amount in the bonus, as I am nearing $10k for the week of wagering.

Did you recently get a $40 "Russian Bonus" from Stake?
There are many ways that scammers can do online, what happened to you is not a new mode, it's a trick of scammers targeting their victims, they know the Stake.com gambling site which is an easy target for beginners.
Example:
Phishing E-mail Scam - November 2022

You should not do the user suggestion below.

Do NOT click the link. It seems that they used [email protected] but with a capital I instead of a lowercase l, since on some email web addresses it appears the same. It's a scam email...I've already forwarded it to my VIP host and sent it to stake support. Please notify the entire community. I opened the link on an incognito window and after about 2 minutes it goes to a third party site indirectly before showing you the stake homepage and oddly requiring you to sign in. Also note the messed up grammar in the last line.

Additional information for you.
Fraud Email - Scam

In the future, don't immediately click on the bulging web, check carefully, don't be tempted by an offer of $ 40, it can be dangerous for the laptop or Android that you have.

Yoshi your advice is great in most situations:
1) I was not expecting the email to be real.
2) The Domain is 100% certainly stake.com, so I am communicating with them without a doubt.
3) It was real.  Smiley
