Any updates on this coin Dev?  Still in the plans to grow this puppy or what?  It's gonna suck if this one is not revived......I got a nice bag of these things and they are currently worthless:-(  Nice that you guys were able to get it listed on the exchange, but nothing has moved on that exchange since.

Not true. Check:
https://comkort.com/market/trade/wam_doge

Averaging 100+ million a day. Hey, it's a start...

It would help a lot of others would trade a few for bitcoin/litecoin/dogecoin to obtain a few instead of mining and dumping.

BC

Appreciate the response bud, I am at least glad this coin was taken over and has hope again.  I mined this one from the start and have not taken part in the dumping, have honestly not sold a single coin.

Are there future plans for development and marketing?

Sorry if I offended, was not my intention......appreciate your efforts with WampumCoin!

We are redesigning the wampumcoin.com Website.
While it won't be a masterpiece, with our time restraints it will be a bit better than the previous incarnation.
https://twitter.com/WampumCoin/status/462834127042248704

It was discovered during upgrade and migration that the previous owner/s had somehow made changes to the permissions mining pool files resulting in the inability complete proper upgrades. As a result, certain things had to be recompiled to resume normal operation of the pool. No customer coins were lost.

Please send a support message at the mining pool to claim your 5000 WAM for any inconvenience you might have experienced during the outage. Your account must have existed prior to the outage.

LOL.  Are these shitbox coins even getting miners anymore or is everyone wising up?  Good luck getting listed on comkort, I heard they're like the biggest exchange out there  :D

Joke.

gee, some people are sooo unkind ;)

And while we're at it, you seem to believe that the **size** of an exchange matters? Oh well. I guess, we all know the story of that **biggest exchange** by now...

I don't mind smaller exchanges, actually. Was not even stupid enough to lose any money on Mt Gox (or CryptoRush from that same dubious country, for that matter) because I like reading the T&C ahead of time. Just saying :)))

But seriously, that guy HOLLOWMAN, that's just what it is: yet another hollow man running around and indiscriminately thrashing all kinds of Altcoins, even up to the point of including big names like MZC or AUR, because he's apparently scared of "too much competition for Bitcoin". He doesn't know the first thing of free markets and competition, would still use Napster instead of BitTorrent (or any Crpyto coins for that matter), and appears to have a hard time typing at that (or why is he only blurting out like two to five words at most everything)... To use that really-hollow man's own words, "How future is that?"

Also, WAM is one of like two*) coins out there to include the fixed OpenSSL mod thanks to Wampumcoin's dev focusing on what's important. B-I-G THANKS for that, nice work!

Github version 1.1-updated already

I updated the installer and Qt of build 1.1 with new nodes, checkpoints, and the max wampum coin update.  Yes we raised the coin count on wampum just a little bit. In addition, its built with the newer OpenSSL which fixes the "Heartbleed" issue.  Another node is being added, and the current nodes have been updated as said above.  This will fix any synching problems with the networks and wallets from here on out.
