I assumed with the price drop of BTC on BTC-e is what is causing LTC to go up

I would assume that as soon at LTC becomes available, there will be a jump in conversion rate (in favor of LTC) as more people will have access to it.

Trading at BTC-E indicates that it could be in just a few days.

Last I heard they were working on it but it took a back seat to dealing with DDoS/capacity problems. Good on them.

If you have any updates regarding alt. cryptos on mtgox please keep informed. Mtgox has already released a statement saying LTC will be on soon, but that was the last word.
