Just an idea now but im really tempted to do it even if theres just a small amount of interest
as anyone in the UK knows Uploading and download is pretty much crap at the best of times. best we can offer is around 150mbps (and you have to be very lucky for that)
would there be any interest in kind of like a internet cafe but with shit your brains out amounts of bandwidth. im talking the ability to go into a nice open area where you pay a small fee (cheaper than the cloud or btwifi pass) and have luxurious amounts of bandwidth available. im not talking about a few 100mbps connections im talking gbps and possibly big numbers. the upload/download stations would make uploading and downloading files a breeze (iv been there trying to send a 1GB file and your pulling your hair out)
so any intrest, i would love to know your opinions. and maybe if it took off a bit id be able to use the center to provide internet to surrounding people (a bit like google did with 1gbps home connections years ago)
my aim is to not only take on TalkTalk, BT, Sky, Virgin but to revamp the whole industry in the UK and show these millionaire fat cats that there not as safe as they think they are.
