Basing on OP post. I think he might be from the US. Binance.com closed shop for traders from the US. So buying Litecoin from coinbase and then sending it to Binance.com isn't possible

I don't know if Binance US supports Litecoin or not but if it does then it's a good thing for OP to do.
It is binance US that was included in the OP post, he was referring to binance US. Binance US support litecoin, that should not be a problem for him at all. In this particular thread, KHamilton and I were both referring to binance US not binance.com.

I will advise you to go for litecoin, it will have very cheap fee if compared to tether. I am not using coinbase, I can not be able to answer many of your questions. But buying litecoin directly from Coinbase can help, you will send the litecoin to binance and convert it to BNB. It will not take much fee, trading fee will be much more low.

Is there a way to know the fees for each coin? I was thinking Litecoin or Tether. Both can be bought on Coinbase...Of course, I'd want to go with the cheapest, fastest, and one that is supported on whatever platform I am sending it to. Is there a transaction fee when you convert from one coin to another?? I know I have to pay to send the coin(s) to another platform...

ALSO, I have a Question about the shown balances on my Coinbase platform...
I have a "Portfolio Balance" (the amount availabe to trade) and an "Available Balance" (the amount available to send)...

Is there ANYthing I can do with these balances to resolve my issue??
Would it be Quicker to use one of these balances since the funds are already there as opposed to buying a new coin and having wait on the banking transaction? How does using one of these balances affect my portfolio?

What coin can you buy on Coinbase if truly purchasing on Coinbase is fast, maybe bitcoin, then buy bitcoin, convert it to a coin you can send with low fee like litecoin, monero or any other coin (or if possible to buy the low fee coin directly), make sure the coin you converted it to is supported by Binance US. Or is both exchanges support Bitcoin via BEP20, then send through BEP20 which has a very low fee. You will send from Coinbase to Binance, convert the coin sent to binance to BNB, send it from binance to a noncustodial wallet.

How much do you need? If it's not a huge amount, we could do P2P. I have some BUSD on the BSC, so I could swap some to BNB and send your way in exchange for a Coinbase supported coin (like LTC). Also, do you need them on the Binance Smart Chain or Binance Chain?

Try the Marketplace and to be more specific, the Currency Exchange board. Maybe you could find someone there.

He should be careful of market place because scammers can PM him telling him they will help out but not knowing they only want to scam. I will advice him to use escrow for this so that he will not be scammed.

I have been trying to buy BNB for the last couple of days, to no avail.

I tried buying BNB thru TRUST wallet but their payment portals- Simplex and Moonpay- will not take my payment. I hear a LOT of people have this issue.
BNB isn't supported on Coinbase, so there's that.
BNB isn't supported on Celsius.
I was told that Binance US would make me wait days and I need it ASAP.

What is the best way for me to accomplish this? Do I need to set up a specific exchange that allows larger BNB purchases? Do I need to swap out coins I have (btc, ada, eth, usdt, etc) to something else to something else to BNB??

I am trying to buy ASAP. Please help!
