Probably, Americans are the most likely owners of HODL, because they are the main players of the NYSE, NASDAQ. On stock exchanges, simple (small) investors buy and hold securities in a long 6-24 months. And, perhaps, the most desirable participants of the ICO, since the most accessible are the issuance of loans and loans.

Recently one ICO published statistics on their contributors.

It showed that among the most likely to HODL were US contributors.

The broader correlation in fact was that the poorer the country of origin the sooner the contributor will sell his coins/tokens.

In this light it seems highly desirable for an ICO to open access to US citizens, however almost all ICOs are filtering them through KYC. (because of fear of US regulations)
