funny thing is people tend to think of prostitution as only males buying sex from females but the opposite is just as common in many places.  Woman are just as horny as men, don't be fooled by what you see on televsion.

I have 1 wife and i am barely dealing with her, i have no idea how someone can have 4 wives, i would go crazy Cheesy

This tbh.

Paying for sex might save on medical bills or lawyers.

Decriminalize all sex acts between consenting adults (governments out of bedrooms).
Legalize the sex trade for adults then start with licenses.
These steps would make it easier to expose child trafficking; prosecute traffickers to the full extent of the law.

There are still very few countries that regulate the sex trade, because it prohibits things that are taboo. The sex trade has the effects of infectious diseases that are very dangerous like HIV and AIDS, America, Japan and other developed countries legalize pornography, so that such trade is regulated. such as Sensor, There is no element of coercion, etc.

Prostitution is a thing that has oftentimes been made illegal, and that has never suppressed the customer demand.

The making of such a thing illegal is exactly what causes the spread of STDs. The purpose of regulation is to enhance public safety and make simple requirements, such as requiring condoms and monthly testing.

Countries that I know of which seem to have done well legalizing would be such as Canada and Australia. Note that although they make sex for pay between individuals legal, business pimping and marketing girls is not allowed.

Legalization of the sex trade?

Is there any sex exchange?
What about middle market price?
How to open limit position to buy sex at the fixed price.
Is it possible to open immediately market-position at market-price?
What about leverage?
Can I sell sex and buy more in future, after dump? What about buy and hold strategy, after buy sex?  Grin

If we're going to legalize prostitution we at least need a $15 minimum wage tied to cost of living.
After that I think that we'll need a whole new government agency to regulate it, sort of like the FDA or the USDA but for sex-work related issues.

Also, it should be legal for anyone to offer sex services to another as long as things are done in an ethical manner. (Disclosure of any STDs, legal age, consent).

Edit: I think that individuals selling their services to other individuals shouldn't be as stringently regulated. This way we don't have corporations that are white-listed by their friends in Washington leeching of the most hardworking of Americans by in effect replacing pimps.*

Personally I have no experience with sex-workers, I have been neither a client nor a provider.

*The competition from P2P sex-work would make big franchises and organizations have to offer something good. Like good medical testing, a nice place, privacy, equipment or whatever, instead of just stealing a big chunk of the money from the sex-worker in case only certain companies have licenses for that sort of thing.

I believe that earnings from prostitution and illegal drug sales are now part of the GDP for the UK.

Thought this was going to be bullshit, but I guess it isn't - https://www.bbc.com/news/av/45104007/why-gdp-includes-the-illegal-drugs-trade

It also adds a large amount of money to the economy -- about $10B. Though I doubt this is enough to be able to counteract the amount of money spent on combatting the illegal drug trade, through healthcare, policing, etc.

We'd be much better off legalizing certain things -- such as prostitution, marijuana, and then regulating them to ensure that the industries aren't left to kingpins and some horrible people.

Unknown on the types of regulations that I would enact, but on a broad scale I think the idea is very good.

There's no reason that this sort of thing should be underground, run by gangs and some horrible people. We can regulate it, bring people out of the control of pimps and gangs, and bring them into a regulated industry...

I agree totally. Just think of the application of modern tech to this age old business of whoring. We could have a section of every Walmart devoted to whoring. No, scratch that.

Starbucks would be better. YEAH....

Prime taxing opportunity tbh, plus it would save on the policing of this trade as well.
