You are already getting the 'max' out of that thing.

Overclocking these miners has been discussed in depth before in many other threads, tl;dr you would need to completely redesign the entire device because 1. it uses a fixed clock to control the ASIC's frequency and 2. the power circuitry is only sufficient to power it at it's 'stock' speed.

My little ASIC usb is running at 334m/hash earning me the princely sum of 64 cents a day. Minus what it takes to power my laptop.  Unlike mining with a GPU, it doesn't slow down the computer so it's a fun little demonstrator. YMMV

Bandwidth requirements are very low.  OP didn't specify their connection speed, but these are fine on the average Cable/DSL connection.

Energy is about 2.5-2.6 watts per.

ROI is at least 1 year (possibly not ever) at the current price/difficulty.

Profit? what is that? Huh Figure that right now, at this moment, one will make about US$1.50 per day and every ten days it will make a little less.

Hi,

I've been using bitcoins for a while, but I'm thinking about getting into mining for the first time.

It seems like the USB asic block erupter with a Raspberry Pi is the easiest way to get into it.

However I've got a few questions. Sorry if they've already been asked, but I can't find the info I'm looking for.

- What is the average profit per unit that people are experiencing? (I'm planning on buying one, save the profits, buy another one etc)

- How much bandwidth do they use? Would I be able to run them on the same net connection that I use to browse etc or would I need a specific connection just to mine?

- How much electricity do they use?

Thanks guys
