sounds like a cheap crappy hub. plug it directly into a usb socket on the computer and try again. if it woks take the hub back to where you got it and beat the idiot that sold it to you

What version Windows 7 are you using?
Hello ladies/gents ive recently purchased a USB ASIC Block Eruptor and everytime i plug it into my hub it comes up as not recognized, Ive been to the sillabs.com website and downloaded the driver (CP210xVCPInstaller_x64), Ive also tried using Zadig and in the list of all devices it says Unknown Device and will not install the Winusb. So if anyone could help me with this issue id be very thankfull . Cuz im lost and dont know what else to do, also idk if this helps but the green light turns on when i plug it into my 7 slot powered USB hub but i really need the help, it would be very appreciated
