i had a problem with cgminer and what i did was
1. put cgminer in C:
2. open the cgminer file and right click cgminer no-gpu and create shortcut on the desktop
3. right click the new short cut
4 in the "Target" field add the commands like you do in cmd
it should look like

C:\cgminer-nogpu.exe -u *** -p****.... and all that crap

no click the short cut and it should run it just like youve done the cmd prompt way

Why not move the .bat file outside of the folder?  Thats generally what people.  Leave the folder wherever, create a shortcut, place it on your desktop, startup file, etc.

-I followed the guide for setting up the USB block erupters as outlined here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.2321308.
-I only installed the first set of drivers listed in step 1, (not the 'VCD' ones in 3)
-I'm using cgminer 3.4.0

My issue is when launching cgminer-nogpu from within its folder, it crashes after inputting the pool and user info. However, when launching cgminer from the cmd application and inputting the relevant info it runs fine where it previously crashed. While not a major issue, it is annoying not being able to launch from a .bat file. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
