There are at least 3 ways to get bitcoins from "mining":
- Having the specialized hardware (starting with the mentioned USB miners )
- Mine other coins with ATI video cards and trade for bitcoins, or just point to https://hashco.ws or middlecoin.com
- Mining contracts or virtual mining. eg. buy/trade "virtual Gh/s"  at https://cex.io

Now, the associated risk, start-up and recurring costs are very different. Ex: GPU's are the least efficient, but you can always sell the video cards or use them for gaming/specialized software later

Could i just go with this?: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RED-FURY-Bitfury-USB-ASIC-2-6-Gh-s-More-than-7x-the-hashing-of-Block-Erupter-/121205085106?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c3862d3b2

Instead of buying the Bitfury Boards?

Sorry like I said I am very new to all of this stuff.

you could if you dont have much to invest into mining, but its not a good gh to $ ratio, everyone has to start somwhere though

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah I was looking to mine FTC with with the ASICMiner Block Erupter USB 330MH/s Sapphire Miner or the Red Fury Miner

Can anybody tell me if that is possible?

Read up just a tiny bit please. You can't mine Scrypt coins with SHA256 asic.

I would buy the 40GH bitfury boards if I were you. They are the cheapest in hand miners per GH right now. Technobit sells them.

I'm not big into mining, I just own a couple usb block eruptors for the fun of it...

But you aren't going to make a return on investment with mining bitcoin.

I think it's possible with alt coins, but most of those use GPUs,

some of the new ones do use the asics though.

There are far more knowledgeable people than me on this though... Smiley

Well, Im very new in this whole BitCoin mining stuff but i need to know where to start.

I see all of these RedFury and Blue Fury (Sapphire) USB Block eruptors and was looking to buy a couple and even some other ones.

Hashing around 3.2 Gh/s

If it smart to buy these to start everything off? I am more than likely mine Altcoins first.

I just dont know what to do help!!
