Just wondering will there ever be USB scrypt sticks for litecoin, they have it for bitcoin so why not litecoin?

litecoin uses scrypt and bitcoin uses SHA-256.  Scrypt requires memory to mine and getting that to work well on a normal sized board has so far not been that successful (not to mention getting it to the size of a USB stick).  Not saying it cant be done, but developers are seeing with what is currently available no further optimization than just using GPU's to mine Scrypt.

Summary - extremely hard to make a more efficient scrypt FPGA/ASIC than a GPU that is a normal sized board.
