This is great news...if it wasn't tether.
Tether is so scammy and risky.
The entire idea of each usdt backed by one usd is an economic concept that has proven to fail in the long run.
Currency used to be attached to gold, it limits growth and stagnates economy.
On top of that, tether hasn't been audited by any internationally reputable firm so their claims of every usdt backed by usd is suspect.

But, for the tron ecosystem itself, it's a good thing.
Having more options to transact broadens the platform considerably.
It's ironic, when tron first popped up people were crying scam! but it's turned out to be very nice.
Its really showing what blockchain tech can do.

I read an article like a few months ago where TRON was said to be free to use (i.e. that there are no fees). If that's actually the case, then their USDT tokens can be transferred natively without having TRON in your wallet.

Can anyone clarify this? Where or how can we test using Tether on the Tron blockchain, and is it true you can use it without paying fees? That would prone to blockchain spam, i'd rather fees be paid with USDT itself...

As far as i know, you need satoshis to use it on the Bitcoin blockchain, and gas on the Ethereum blockchain. Why would Tron let it move for free?
If that was free and that means the blockchain of tron is centralized. that sounds look so weird for me personally. Basically, tron used POS or it's not mineable blockchain. that's possible to the blockchain of tron is centralized. This is my opinion about that. This can be a real proof.

I wonder if the Tron holder will also get a free token to celebrate the moment Grin
If that happens, then all of the Tron holders will keep some amount in a long time or will buy more.
I think maybe this will trigger Tron price to increase higher in this month because of this news. People will buy more Tron because they are expecting to get a free token from Tron IF indeed there is a free token.

Good news for tron holders, this is surely a great achievement on Tron chain which will help Tron holders and traders to smooth out risk. Might be worth joining their campaign since they are giving away a huge amount of USDT.

Here is a link I found on google about this:
