Hello guys, just heard that someone is collecting the statistics of code updates and review the changes of them to rate the projects and decide their invest plan.

As you know most of the projects are open source on Github and you can follow all their changes everyday.
Some projects never update their codes and only make advertisement, some others are hardly working on developing new features or fixing bugs.

I would like to dicuss with you if this method is helpful. Please give your opinion!
