I believe no but all traders like it if they are paying less fee most especially if your a poor trader. Have not visit cowswap yet but if its look like etherdelta, that's great as I already use this exchange before.
Its like you are paying the tokens you earned. Bounty tokens are good for this however knowing cowswap new platform, which is made for traders and not for any token that havent any use case at all. For sure only tokens with good liquidity will be used here or listed.

Ive never checked it yet too but it seems they got a hype since most CT Ive saw are following it and even posting about it.

What title says really, cowswap is fork of uniswap and allows you to pay fees in token you are trading.

Thats enticing since most dont want to spend their eth or any L1 to pay for fees. This is etherdelta style before, gone the days they are still the top dex. I think cowswap introducing a good idea here and also many traders gonna like it especially those who love to trading using mininal fees. But do they have ratio of the fee? Or fixed amount whether it could be deducted? Example like 0.005eth worth of tokens as fee or how do they based the fee?
I do not mind spending my coin as long as I can trade the coin I am trading but the problem that I face most of the time is, I do not have the coin required to pay the fee to be able to trade. Cowswap is a big help in this matter because I can instead use other coins in my wallet but I think cowswap wont support every coins right? That will still be a problem to me because majority of the coins on my wallet are non popular coins or coins that I only got from airdrops and bounties. Are there traders that likes to pay a high fee?

฿itcoin for all, All for ฿itcoin.
Yes like this and how much you pay depends on ethereum traffic.
But this still does not eliminate the fact that traders have to pay the insane gas fees for the token internal transfers or smart contract call when a trade is being executed, right?

It sounds like the old school dex Etherdelta, in terms of charging trading fees  Cheesy

But with so many copycat "Decentralized exchanges" and shitcoins. I suggest  people be very careful while using them. Some are just created to steal tokens from your wallet.

whether it's decentralized or not, using an exchange always put your asset to risk. i agree that using a beta/alpha product is riskier than usual, and it probably takes months before the product is stable. but hey, it's your choice. use another wallet to trade to reduce the risk, it might be a great deal for some people since it saves a lot of fees.

While both of them are forks of Uniswap, it looks like they work differently. Based on the faqs, sounds like Cowsap uses some centralized part for the order engine since they claim they don't use AMM. Quickswap on the other hand is an L2 solution, at least that's what I understand from their pitch. Keep in mind that both of them are still in the early stage, if you want to use them, use a throwaway wallet instead of your main one.

I wonder about the trustworthy of this swap, it's still new and no any review about it. However, quickswap [1] also similar like you mentioned above (fork of uniswap and use token fees) much better regarding the fees, pairs, token listed, and reputation.
