Well shit greyhawk, I had stopped taking it since I wasn't working out... guess I better start back up!

Yeah, I'm usually pretty roll-eyesy when people go "OMG, imma gon' loose all my gainz", but 6 weeks IS a long time. Keep your protein intake high, up your BCAA and Glutamine, keep taking creatine. Best you can do in that phase.

Depending on your personal beliefs and situation, you might also wanna have a look at HGH for faster recuperation and less muscle loss. That is if you have a good source; please don't take that cheap Chinese 192aa crap.

Actually that article is specifically about people who are unable to train due to them being encased in plaster  Wink

Fine yeah, i didn't read it properly Tongue, although it's still for upper-limb muscles.

I was talking about overall body.

Anyways both are good Smiley

My gains are all going to go away!

Take your creatine, duder.

Creatine doesn't prevent loss of muscle gain.

Take Glutamine

Actually if you read the article I linked to, it shows that yes, taking creatine while incapacitated does indeed help in preventing atrophy.

Now taking glutamine isn't false either of course.

Well bro that's research is about peoples who are doing excercise and taking creatine but he will not be able to do excercise so creatine will not help in that case but yeah it will reduce fatigue and maintain water in your muscles. Don't mind but you need to search more about creatine dude.  Tongue
If he will take glutamine and continue his protein shakes, he will not get any kind of muscle and weight loss.

It's not too late, start lifting again and you can still make it.

I wish I could lift right now, but had surgery on Friday and can't lift for like 6 weeks  Cry.  My gains are all going to go away!

I was thinking about the food pyramid and how the carbs all go to the lowest biggest part and the fatty foods go to the small top.
