Wynand has cards to sell, has set a price and sold some.  He doesn't have to provide extra information like the store he's dealing with.
I don't mind saying which store it was to a serious buyer, I do mind passing on contact info so someone can waste their time (as he did with mine) without reason.

Catching up on this thread (it's been a while).  A perspective that is glaring:

The price Goat wants is unrealistic, and even with the entry of the 6000 series, the 5000 series were still good cards and cost real money.   I wouldn't expect good hashing cards to suddenly drop in price.  Brow-beating Wynand here isn't going to help your cause any.

Wynand has cards to sell, has set a price and sold some.  He doesn't have to provide extra information like the store he's dealing with.

In the absence of willing seller and willing buyer, don't do a deal.  If you guys ever did, I would expect another astana-style thread to pop up very quickly.

Give the seller a break.  If you don't want to buy at his prices or even anywhere near his prices, maybe you can look for a seller that is willing.

I do not see in the links you provided where they successfully returned a card under warranty.
There will be in aprox a week, or you can wait till someone from this forum buys one and allows you to interrogate him deeply.

if the object title says "1,5 years warranty", don't you think at least one of the buyers would've complained if it wasn't included? :-)

The price has been reasonable for over 25 people, only for you it isn't. What's to blame, their stupidity or yours?

So you will not give me the information so I can contact them?  Hmm... What do you have to hide?
I've got nothing to hide, I do feel oblicated to protect them from time wasting communication to state something that is very normal around here, I've got a fine business relationship with them and intend to keep it that way.
AFAIK you still want to wait for the HD7xxx series, or anyway not intend to buy any of the cards I offer for the price I ask.

Sadly I don't have a friend in The Netherlands that will do my bidding. Are you willing to do this for me when ever needed?
Sure.

You have been shipping the cards with the original invoice?
Digital one, PDF, yes.

Ie:
- It's not a store in Belgium (different laws apply)
- If you buy a mainboard that after some time breaks. You don't have time that week to go back to the shop so you ask a friend to return it. If the S/N of the product matches the S/N on the original invoice, why would it matter who returns it as it's obvious that it's a product from their shelves that they originally sold?

The store in Belgium will accept cards from a 3rd party via international mail? Would you mind letting me contact the store to confirm this information? Will the store or will you cover the shipping costs?
Could you please just _read_ the first post? Thanks.
You're the one that takes care of the shipping costs, always for HW parts (maybe not where you live, but it's fairly normal here).

You can ship the cards back to XFX or the store to your preference.  Roll Eyes

Let's keep it at, you can ship it back till May 2013 then. ;-)

Wow, you sure sound like someone who I would trust! Lie to sell used video cards....
Perhaps I should've placed an extra , in the quoted sentence to ensure *you* don't confuse 'the store' with 'any store'.

BTW if you are going to want me to buy more than two cards you will need to significantly reduce that price. Just so you know.
Then I'd still make far more profit then when I'd sell you two. :-)

As in 5 and above?

Are you willing to sell for $500 each if buy in bigger quantities?
Define larger quantities?

I told him I would go there and get the cards myself 80 plus and would buy all of them. He told me his lowest price was $525.
No I didn't, you made the comparison with 310$ cards and that the deal would have to be good. I offered you 525$/card, and instead of making a decent counteroffer you walk away. :-)

AFAIK the cheapest (used) card on eBay with a buy now option is 650$.  Roll Eyes
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=See-All-Categories&_from=R40&_nkw=xfx+6990&LH_PrefLoc=2
Good luck getting them anyway, I'd get your 5970 cards for 310$ (your words) if I were you.

You might think it's a lot, yet there are numerous people that have already bought cards for €430-480. Thanks for your interest, but please stay away from threads if you have no intention of buying things at a similar price as asked.

Any escrow services etc?   Or prove that you can deliver what you sell?  Sorry for asking that as you seem to be quite new here.
Blame the five-posts-newbie-rule, you need to spam five posts (there's hardly anything usefull in the newbs. section anyway) to add something usefull anywhere, to avoid spam. Pretty silly if you ask me.
Regarding feedback, I can link you to an other community profile where I'm also selling hardware, Dutch, so you might appreciate the google translate:

Hi,

I'm selling a bunch XFX 6990 cards. Cards were used, the ones I've got available right now still have their yellow overclock-switch-seal.
It's likely I've got more of them available then anyone would be willing to buy.
Boxes are original & complete, ie. manual, cd, doorhanger, CF bridge, mini DP->DP adapter, mini DP->DVI adapter. Cards/SN's are not registered at XFX. Warranty provided by a shop in The Netherlands (June 2013).
Price: €450 excl shipping, ships from EU - Belgium. If you want belgian chocolate included in your shipment that could be arranged too, price depending on how much and which kind you want. Wink
Also got two sealed boxes with 2 years minus 2 weeks warranty, feel free to offer on those. Those were sent back after an RMA.

Payment through wire transfer, moneybookers and BTC. Paypal possible to verified addresses when buyer pays the Paypal's cut. Ships with Taxipost (incl. tracking option) or UPS.
Shipping fees with taxipost:
Netherlands/Luxemburg/UK/Germany: €15
Rest of the EU + VS: €30
Rest of the world: €60
For shipping with UPS, calculate the costs on their website. ZIP code 1000 Brussels can be used as sender address on their online calculator.
