If it's "just" a scam attempt, forum moderation won't get involved since scams are not moderated. However, linking to malware is against forum rules, and as such, should be reported. For this porpuse, you can click the "report to moderator" button down right of either the post or PM you think contains malware link and it will get checked (and hopefully, removed).
It'd also be ideal if you could provide any more information/evidence and followed the Scam Report Format:
