I already tested the greenaddress and I haven't experienced any issue yet with iPhone 6 I don't have experience on both edge and BRD. So only greenaddress that I could suggest to you.

All of them only have sweep option to redeem bitcoin from your old address they don't have the option to import the private key that you can use at the same time for both core and mobile wallet.

If you want to use your bitcoin wallet from bitcoin core to mobile I think you need to switch to android because there are more wallet option that you can use where you can import your wallet without sweeping.
Thanks for your response. I guess I’ll just have to wait for a sufficiently secure iOS wallet that also allows private keys to be imported.

(Android isn’t an option for me - I have it on a work phone and I hate it 🤢)

And are there any potential issues I should be wary of?

you should always avoid "importing" private keys generated in another wallet into a different wallet. always sweep them or simply create another set of keys for different purpose like having a hot spending wallet on your phone. use import as your last resort and only if you have no other options.

for example with bitcoin core you can be absolutely sure that your wallet (keys) is safe as it is extensively tested and reviewed by lots of experts and that is something which is not true for many mobile wallets specially those that are brand new.

I have heard users talking about the Breadwallet several times but I don't have an iOS device so I wouldn't be able to give you any more details about the quality of the wallet but it is defiantly an option that has been talked about many times.

Hi,

It’s been a while. Hopefully everyone’s doing great.

I have a Bitcoin Core wallet I intend to continue using. But I would now like to use those same keys on an iOS device as well.

Which iOS wallet would you recommend? I understand that from a security viewpoint, BRD, Edge or Greenaddress would be preferable. Do any of those provide a workable way of importing my keys from Core? Not just sweep them - my objective is to use both wallets concurrently with the same set of keys. And are there any potential issues I should be wary of?
