If you restore your wallet in Electrum as a "2FA wallet"... it supposedly re-creates the wallet with 2 of the 3 private keys for a multi-sig wallet on your computer, so you no longer need to use TrustedCoin.com to sign transactions. (This is the recommended "recovery" method if you lose your phone, no longer want to user TrustedCoin or TrustedCoin goes offline etc).

I'm unfamiliar with how these crowdfund things work... but are they asking that you provide them with a private key? If so, that seems incredibly sketchy... Shocked Undecided

Why exactly do they need your private key? Huh

So i sent money to a crowd fund using electrum as they asked. I used multi sig way to do it. They are telling me that the private key on electrum is only one private key and I need the other one for my multi sig which is trusted.com athentication factor. How do i get that other private key? They are telling me thats the only way they can release the funds to me is getting the other private key. And they said since its multi sig there will be another private key.
