If you want a better interface and something that's a bit easier to use, just use google and pit site:bitcointalk.org at the end of the search, you can use google's setting to change search parameters

Change the "Search order" field to "Most recent post first".

I also like prefer to select "Show results as messages" for better visibility.

Try to use advanced search and set the post limit to 2 days (or else, as you wish).

Hi

whenever I try to do a search in the forum I get a lot of results for which I would like to disregard (such as topics from more than 2 years).
is there a way to do this here?
