Hey npl

I'd like to help. I just joined the Mastercoin Fondation as Smart Property Lead with an announcement yesterday here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3633369 and this sounds like a great start.

You okay to share a few more details of your start?

I posted a similar question on the main MasterCoin thread and got some good responses, but it was quickly buried (understandable given the amount of posts there) so wanted to open this up to the project dev community. Apologies if this thread proves redundant.

I am launching a project that will facilitate a market for tradeable shares, initially pegged to certain assets. These shares will at first be obtainable only through contributing (donating or volunteering) to causes. They can then be traded on an exchange.

I believe MasterCoin may be a good platform to facilitate these trades. Since (after initial pegging) price will not track the parent asset but will be determined through supply and demand, I think the smart property feature of MasterCoin could be used.

I'd like to get some input as to the feasibility and technical aspects of doing this through MasterCoin, especially as we attempt to devise a timeline for rolling out the trading feature. Any comments welcome.
