Adding the source links is the bare minimum expectation so it won't lead to a ban. In some cases it ought look sloppy but I can think of worse things a user could do (eg hyperlinking the entire body of text they copy).

Well, the user included a source link in most of his copied posts and the opposite happened. Someone with the fastest finger reported him and was banned after multiple corrections and refused to edit the posts while he still has the chance.

Using a quote is not hard, would take less than a second to use on any text, normalize the Bitcointalk standard and have peace of mind.

I've noticed a pattern of reference that I believe is not standard procedure for making a reference to a post on Bitcointalk by beginners, they are unaware that they can easily be banned for not properly using quotes in their posts, even adding the source links at the bottom of every text you copy and paste here is not enough.
There are personally ideal ways to reference a source or to show that you do not take ownership of the text you posted. Simply including the source is not the best option, but it is enough to avoid getting banned, using quote tags or the actual quotation marks is also another way to avoid getting banned as it shows you are not claiming ownership of the text.

Ideally, using quotes and referencing the source is a generally accepted way to post contents of others.

I have advised two users to modify their posts, but it appears they don't care, and when they login and can't post in the future due to the ban, they will likely want to appeal, which may be too late.

The following are some examples of non-quoted copy-paste posts:

If you are posting in this manner, avoid it and use the quote BBcode while you still have the chance, you may come online one day and be restricted, do and edit your post while you still have a chance.

Code:
[quote]Text here[/quote]
Wrapping content that you didn't write yourself with the BBcode above and the source link at the bottom is the best way to avoid plagiarism. Do not use " "

Thank you all for correcting me I really appreciate, I need to go back to the forum rules and regulations and ready again so I can understand better.

Once again thanks.

While it's still raining peace, go modify your posts Edith1994 including the ones you were merited by mistake.
