I created the same topic in the Russian local board and got a great help there. Seems like scammers choose mainly Russian-speaking users' links for such kind of scam. It looks quite strange and many people suggest it can be connected to testing new bots. Nobody can know it for sure, but I think we should be very vigilant to minimize a probability of using our data in this way.
Here are some small advice, which can help. It's not the perfect solution of the problem, so if you know any other thing, which can help, I kindly ask you to share it in this topic. I've also added this information to the opening post.
1. Add your ETH address in the forum profile. It can help managers to recognize potential scammer. I used the field "Other Contact Info" to do it.
2. Always be vigilant. If you see something strange happens (for example, more than 10k entries in the Twitter campaign), spend 5-10 minutes to scrutinize the situation and let other users know about it to warn them and try to solve the problem together.
3. Pay extra attention to campaigns without both reporting activity on the forum and proof of authentication post. The scheme perfectly suits this kind of bounties.

I think this is becoming rampant someone else using other people bitcointalk profile to join bounty campaign. I think it'll not be easy to completely eliminate such act but I'll implore everybody on this forum to be on the lookout for cheaters and report them immediately to get them banned and always endeavor to search for your username on all bounties before joining to avoid duplication which can lead to waste of time because if the bounty manager check manually he will invalidate your entry
Not only at airdrops are there many cheaters. I noticed a few days ago that a cheater uses my name to register with telegram bounty campaigns. I reported that and the cheater was removed, but I do not want to know in how many campaigns he uses my name and I do not see it. That annoys me. You could limit that, if every bounty manager would work with a "proof of authentication" post for telegram bounty.

I would like to suggest that bounty manager to please do a thorough research and update of it's participants and should be able to find a solution to all this. In my own opinion, the people using another person's bitcoin talk name as his on bounty is either there for theft of scam which should not be because I see no reason why you should use another person's nickname for your personal account. Another thing is, the name might be the same but the password cannot be the same.

If you are doing the right thing then why are you so afraid on reporting the thief that used your username in registering from a social media campaign, You don't have to be scared if you truly don't have a multi account in the forum then it is OK do report him or her, This is because certain people that doesn't have their higher rank account have using other peoples account, I think we need to report this kind of activity that certain people are doing and don't hesitate in doing the right thing.

Scammers have always been, are and will be. The only thing managers can do is use proof of authenticity. I always look through the spreadsheet of participants when registering in the project. If there are scammers , I report or in the flow of the bounty of the company or telegram group. By the way in this project, my nickname is also used.

My nickname and the link to my forum account are also there, however, I haven't registered for this bounty.
