Unfortunately the only "security" you can hope for if engaging managed trading accounts is by using a service that is regulated... usually by the financial or banking institutions in your own country.

There are even managed trading services offered in this forum. Some give you full control of your account and they are only allowed to trade. Can't speak about their long term performance though.

Hey guys.

I'm a total noob, but I already have some options for investing in btc. Basically, I'm offered the service of investmenr companies through which you earn passively by a personal trader that does all the trading for you.

One is helixinvestment.co.uk and the other os 24capitalinvestment.com

Is this a viable option or they are total scams?

Thanks in advance and cheers,
Simon

Traders somewhat start as a beginner and they slowly take time to learn from it and I suggest you to do so rather than go trust anyome to do it for you since there are a lot of scams going on nowadays and you might end up losing your Bitcoins rather than making more.

If you want to invest then you might want to go to ethtrade.org which is running for about a year now and is still paying though never go all in in anything since you can never tell what exactly may happen.

Okay, thanks everyone for the suggestions.

So no one has heard of helixinvestments.co.uk?

I personally never heard before and I visited the site do not really understand what the company is, also there's no information about the company profile, ect.

It's better to invest at bnktothefuture if you want to invest, there are pretty much big company which you can invest.

you'd rather be investing to ICOs than sending some BTCs to those scams. these ICOs in the forum are worth the wait still than risking to those investment scam. you will be waiting for your returns your whole life but it will never be back. read more of the btc scams here in the forum.

Better to secure your funds and withdraw all the money you have putted on those website because chances of being scammed is high.Let others work for you lets say trade for you will not really be a long term service and most of them end up on scam or running all the money of its investors.Dont ever beleive on easy money on this online world thats why we should really be careful.

Wow, I have heard and seen this friend. But from what I see and know, that all such sites have pretty serious problems in the future. Because profit and also the system I see it is very prone to be great and provide benefits for all members. Because the system they use is a hyip, so maybe I could be wrong but you have to be selective and think well about all the things there are

If youroney will remain in the hand of the another person who is unknown for you then I am 100% sure that you have  risk with your money and this is reality that you can't withdraw your money forcely .
So any sites that offers you for the investment , never care and don't invest in them because all these are risky because in the history of the Bitcoin I saw many sites which entered in the Bitcoin market with hash power  mining , investment , trading  etc etc but they ran away after a big scam .
So never investment any such types of the sites , only make investment yourself in the exchange site like poloniex , bitrex , yobit , btc-e and make trading yourself , and also you will get much help about the trading here in this forum .

even if you could find a legit company not a random website on the internet, it is still not a good idea to hand over your money and wait for them to throw you a bone!
if you want small profit when you invest your money and do nothing there are better options, even making a deposit account in a bank is a better option. look in fiat world for that.

in trading you should do it yourself if you don't want to lose your money.

Definitely sounds like scams. The only service that can invest your money for you is a certified financial advisor or a fund incorporated as an LLC, and I'm confident that neither of those sites is either of these things.

Don't let other people invest your money except for financial advisors who you meet in person at a bank.

Don't trust any site/service or person that claims to give you constant profit in intervals they are just scammers. I was scammed by one trading group that promises to give 10% every week and they keep it up till 7 months I think but after 7 months they ran away with millions of dollar.  Angry

While it is true that in this world of trading there are many scammers, this does not mean that it is impossible to obtain good dividends consistently through these services.

But for this it is important to look for who offers you more realistic returns, as it is very common to find people out there promising profits of more than 50% in a monthly basis, and simple common sense and experience show that such large yield is not sustainable in the long term, nor in very large investments.

In my case I have been able to obtain annual returns of 200% in many of my investments; it is true that a 10% weekly profit sounds more tempting, but 10% monthly profit is certainly more feasible and still appealing.

Hi Simon,i have not heard about those services till now and almost everything would be a scam as no one will be trading for your, everyone starts at a certain time and every one will be a noob at one point,so there is nothing to worry about being a noob ,just learn the market, check out different exchanges and understand how things work and then start trading rather than trusting a third party to do your job.

i suggest to you to stay away from the site like that, its not worth for your money and its still better for you to learn by yourself so you can increase your trading skills. we have seen many sites like this and i think not all of them is scam, i guess that there are a true site that is recommended but the scam site is more over than the recommended sites.

I totally agree. Get out before get scam and complain about those two investment firms here that you are scam by them. Smiley I know for a newbie it will be totally overwhelming to do trade. I myself has been scam as well by believing on putting investment on those kind of sites. So what I did is a learn to trade and do the hardwork of earning bitcoin myself.
