It is all just spam... You really need to spam the spammers and bots with more junk-ads they don't even read themselves? That will help bitcoins how? By associating it with spam, as it is already associated with viruses and fraud and hackers... Sure, just add one more thing to the list... Hey, did you hear about this thing called e-mail... you should make a mail-bot and tell the world that way... That will really build trust!

Why not just advertise like the rest of the trusted world... with paid ads on legitimate sites? Are you actually that cheap of a person? What that shows is you are already a failure, and talking to other failures. What "customer base" will you actually attract with that crap? More bots!

i am not sure the troll box has good content. how many times can you see "SELL SELL SELL" and "BUY BUY BUY".

That's a great example of a post where the user pre-pends \tweet\ to the post, to get it to tweet to twitter, but a filter sees the string "buy" or "sell" multiple times, and refuses to tweet it. So it's all about filtering out tweets that one would not want tweeted, and that takes some development and some judicious coding that is acceptable to those who are considering the use of the service, to tweet some post made in trollbox with some degree of automation.

I personally would not. I completely support the idea of tweeting about crypto news and information. Have you seen the trollbox though? For one, it's like 99% trolling, and for two, the post rate to it is huge. If all messages to the trollbox went to twitter, twitter would probably block btc-e for flooding!

I agree that twitter certainly might block btc-e trollbox automated tweets for flooding. A solution ... to prepend something like \tweet\ to a post in trollbox ... that might only send that post to twitter might be a starting point for a third party, who is logging chat, to then provide a service to tweet trollbox posts for their members, and only when their database trigger to tweet a logged trollbox chat reads the prepend. This would encourage those who were serious about tweeting good information to use that third party service, and of course there could be a limit imposed by the third party on the number of tweets that could be made in some timeframe. Filters could of course be applied to the tweets coming out of the third party's trollbox chat logging service that filtered out any \tweet\TBxLoggedPost for profanity or terms of service violations of twitter.

Certainly some alpha or beta development of an third party application or service might be useful in ASSISTING the trollbox in becoming a better place, and BTC-E devs and admins have made a very great effort since the big parabolic runup and resulting hard correction to remove links, spam, and to ride roughshod on profanity, all caps, etc ...

So a third party service to tweet logged trollbox chats with a prepend that triggers the tweet from the third party service might serve to further tame ... the trolllllzzzzzz  Grin

You sound delusional. Either this technology will succeed or fail. Tweeting about it won't make much of a damn difference.

It might be nice to set up a news source for general information on digital currency, but the person would need to be knowledgeable, and they probably wouldn't gain much for their efforts anyway.

Reaching a larger audience, alerting the masses, attracting the masses to Crypto Currencies and providing information in a format about Crypto that laymen, even seasoned exchange traders, can understand and can utilize is very important for the development, growth and adoption of Crypto Currencies, (capital flow into exchanges).

On btc-e.com there is a trollbox, many of us know about this chat application on btc-e.com

If one could tweet to twitter directly from the trollbox, if there was a direct connection from the trollbox on btc-e.com to twitter, would you tweet to twitter from a chat application on an exchange? If you would, what would you be tweeting, how would you utilize your access to twitter from a Crypto Currency exchange's chat application?
