Topic: Utilizing Work from Home! 21 Day Lockdown (Read 278 times)

I am a Retired Engineer and served in Middle East countries for more than 40 years. During the lock down I have been enjoying trading in crypto currencies and stock market. This was good opportunity to learn Technical Indicators which are really very helpful to make earing in trading.

Our governments asked to pay salaries to everyone even for the lockdown days as well but I don't think it is possible or right thing to ask the owners to pay from their pocket when there is no business going on just because of government's decision.Can we see stimulus checks like US in India as well.

Regarding the black hole discussion, I created a topic last year and were discussing about the possibilities and speculation of surviving when one falls inside a black hole. Either way, the interstellar theories were just being thought up as movies but practically speaking we would be torn up into pieces even before we reach the Event Horizon part. But Cooper somehow managed to survive the fall and came up with the time travel shit.

So what exactly happens when you fall inside a black hole and how they are projected to a person watching you millions of miles away from the Event Horizon? This is probably the place where it does seem to look like a time travel instinct, where the observer would see your body still being present in a pause mode nearby the Event Horizon but practically speaking you would have been observed inside and would have been dead few minutes/hour before.

So, when you are nearby the Event Horizon the physics which has been taught to you in your high school would seem foolish to you and your time would be faster than the observer time and a lot more. If you survive this 0-gravity free fall and manage to reach the singularity by jumping into a super massive black hole, then would you be able to discover new laws which will be completely against that of Einstein!

Not sure about the alien speculation theories nor I do follow about them more seriously. But I am a believer of Alien Life in a far off galaxy which is millions of light years away from us.

I know i have much needed help and that's why i try read more and ask some doubt.These sort of motivation inspire people like me to read more and ask anything not worry about anything and that increases are knowledge and quality.
From past 2 days i am reading about blockchain.How it was built to make bridge between one internet user to another internet user for transaction not only money but from data to pictures to documents and also can be stored with safe keys and legitimacy.
How it is different from many other technology.Like in blockchain every entry data is coming from A user and is not filtered or adulterated by any other person sitting on server as it goes directly to final user while in many other technology it is being monitored and  filtered by servers.Blockchain works independently without the need of any trusted party.And many other things p2p technology and how it was developed with what vision and everything.I am reading and learning everything step by step and utilizing my time in lockdown and please any suggestions are welcome.

I did nothing fruitful in these lockdown days, to be honest. My schedule these days - Wake Up, Bitcointalk, Breakfast, Watch a Movie/Web Series, Lunch, Sleep or Reading books,  Watch a Movie/Web Series, Dinner, Bitcointalk, Sleep. The only thing that is different these days is I am getting lots of sleep and watching lots of Movies. Tbh, I kind of like this lockdown and will enjoy even more if the lockdown extends However, I do understand the hardships of workers who are left with no pay during this lockdown.

Yes that's true and I believe that in the upcoming years we will build technology which will help us move to other planets as well.
I really like the concept of blackhole and I believe that time travel is 100% possible if we fall into a blackhole because they say that you travel through time if your speed is more than the speed of light. In a blackhole, the speed of light is less that's why we can't see through a blackhole.
The chances of us surviving through a blackhole are very slim because the speed is so much that it tears every particle that falls in it, probably burns it.
If we somehow get a suit/spaceship that is untearable/unbreakable then may be can experience timetravel through the blackhole.

Also, do you believe the rumors that NASA is hiding the proofs of Aliens already visited to Earth?

It's really good and refreshing to see users like you popping up now after the removal of ban. A major share of Indians among this forum in general were concentrated only on trading shitcoins, promoting scams through signatures, spreading hatred and bullying other forum members with nonsense shitposts, spamming to the hell to receive tokens in return and ofcourse scamming others to receive free bitcoin. This was one among the reasons we had a little bad reputation over the global boards and I would say this happens even when others come over the same situation. Well, these people have left the forum as a whole with only a little(not sure) roaming around here and there.

Try to be active like this for the upcoming years and I am sure you will be one among the promising posters in global boards. We are a vast country, we have the necessary knowledge to challenge the first world countries but the problem is that we aren't utilizing it to an extent and even if we are coming up with innovative thoughts our politicians are crushing us. Read as much as you can about crypto, read the stickies and if you are in need of any help either technically or related to forum reach out to us here by creating a topic in main Indian board and we would be helping you out. Once you spend a decent time in this forum, you would fall for this (as majority of us currently) and start contributing.

Time is relatively moving slowly in a planet like Earth. That is one thing which is so sure to talk about and yes I do believe in multiverse concepts and we are only among a small fraction of life among the complexity of universes. There should be some form of life which is lightyears far away from us and I believe we don't have sufficient instruments to search for it. Do you believe in wormhole concepts? Otherwise blackhole is a perfect place in space where time is never a dimension and if we could survive the great fall we could indeed experience time travel. I am currently reading a theory on 5-dimension black hole existence which could challenge the 'Theory of Relativity'.

For me, it's a normal day as before since I'm preparing myself for getting an IT QA job since I had four years of break. And right now I'm working as the CM for one of the crypto trading platform which helps me to cover my costs as of now which is a remote job so I'm working as usual but I need to find a regular job as the current job is not a permanent one as everyone knows. But this lockdown is helping me to find others who can assist me in this task easier than before.

Yesterday I learnt about  Virtual environments in Python programming language. I really liked the concept since it can save our projects from getting conflicted with the dependencies of other projects. By creating a virtual environment (venv), all the dependencies are limited to just that environment. We also have the option to export it to global environment and also use the dependencies from the global dependencies. I am using this venv to create a personal project where I would be creating a python script and using API to get price change, marketcap change, volume change etc.. and display it on my device.

I am a Linux user and hence to create the the virtual environment we have to enter the command 'python3 -m venv envname' in the terminal
To activate the venv enter the command 'source PathToVenv/bin/activate'
To deactivate the  venv simply enter 'deactivate'

My quarantine mode is really about family,as we are 5 people and we were all busy in our life.DAD has his buisness running and soo are all busy in there respective work.Due to this lock down we realize how much less time we used to spend with each other.Now we play ludo,cards uno and share each others work experience yes it is nice like we needed it.
I can totally understand you as i am in a same situation but you can't blame gov for that.Life is more important than business and gov is doing what possibly can be done to reduce our stress but we have to cooperate them too. Businesses are affected everywhere but right now our priority should be saving our and our loved ones life.
In lock down i am improving and gaining knowledge about Crypto,and reading links and data that has been shared by our fellow friends like heisenberg(by the way i have read BIP-13&BIP-141),akram and everybody.
I am exploring this forum too.Going in different thread reading different discussion and searching different doubts and there answer.
And one more thing playing call of duty .
It is great and i am totally in this.It can be great opportunity for the guys like me to gain knowledge through lighter side and at the same time can share our life experience just like chatting to a buddy.

It is understandable that a lot of businesses will be in loss due to the lockdown. People will be forced to dig into their savings to stay afloat. It is pretty much confirmed that the Governments would not be taking nay proactive measures regarding this.

There was this scheme from the govt about giving certain amount to daily wage earners. The problem is that how do you track and implement such a thing. As far as self-employed people are concerned, i think they are on their own and on their savings. Let us all hope that these 21 days will help us get rid of community spread to a large extent. Even after that, we shall need to be careful as a single case can explode again till we have a vaccine. It is going to be a difficult coming months for those dependent on daily wages or even Mom-Pop styled businesses.

What am I doing in the lockdown? Trying to wake up on time. Failed for the second day straight.

Finally finishing the long pending coursera courses. Some progress there.

Playing DoTA-2. Think i'll buy the subscription and play ranked.

Trying to settle some personal issues as it seems like crisis time make people realize the value of men...lol..

That's interesting. I used to learn about space and universe too in my childhood. I always believe it's an infyverse (meaning there are infinite number of universes)we live in. And yes I believe that Alien life exists.
NASA always say that an asteroid is gonna pass by Earth and it may destroy human life on Earth if hits us but the asteroid never hits us (except for the age of Dinosaurs)

Games are a good idea but you know what, most people only involve in such activities for incentives/rewards. Hard fact!
Anyway, we will surely try it out to see how many people actually wanna be involved with the crypto community.

Am used to work from home as my company offered it to us every week and then it spoiled me as I used to choose weeks which had no public holiday and choose a day to work from home so I would have to work 4 days a week lol

But it's really boring now as I am whole day at home and now cannot even go out. This 21-day lock down is just too much. Was prepared till 31st March.

A much needed topic which will bring in good discussions at the current situation we are experiencing. With the recent announcement of nationwide 21 day lockdown I hope there is much time to increase our knowledge at this stage. People who aren't doing the WFH activities can update their technical knowledge in various field like science, computer, space instead of wasting their precious time by just watching movies or TV Series.

I do work from home and most probably the travelling time is being saved to quite an extent due to this lockdown. I mostly work in USA and Canadian timings and this is one among the reason why I am much more active in forum at the time when India sleeps. Keeping things aside, I thought about some kind of fun activity which can help us in knowing more about ourselves. So let's have this topic as the 21 day lockdown activity topic and at the same time try to do something useful to the community. I do have few interesting ideas like

1. Each day let all of us post in this topic about the things which we have learnt something new that day, what is the current status of the virus in India (did it reduce or increase), did we do anything different from the normal on the particular day?

2. Apart from crypto, we could learn something new as well like right from my childhood I have been totally into gaining knowledge about space and publishing some journal papers about the same. Even now, I do this as a hobby and try to learn as much as I can about the outer universes. Similarly each one of us would be having a thirst of knowledge in a field which we are currently not into and let all of us learn about those through our posts.

3. Have a fun filled knowledge game which would bring out the best of our Indian forum users? I am not really sure how can this be put into practice but let us try to be innovative to have a connect among us.

With that being said, what are your thoughts on the same? Need opinions from everyone who are reading this post please? If anyone is interested let us start the same by tomorrow.  

21 days added now for the whole nation, utilize it well but more important is stay at home and enjoy it alone or with family.Still people don't get the seriousness of corona spread so they roam around streets especially the younger generation.

After 8 pm live from our president we can feel the serious action will be taken against the rule breakers, understand its only for our goodness...

I am utilising my whole day to netflix and YouTube. 

I am a home worker, but I do offline business, now in total loss due to the lock down. I don't get anything online as i am not a perfect money maker. The lock down should be made to those who brought corona from other Countries. How about the daily earners those who do laborer works?

My life has become troublesome after lock down. Earlier I was able to wake up at 9 AM and somehow reached office by 10:30 AM. But now I hardly able to wake up before 11 AM.

But the work rate has to be same. I receive work email every morning from my manager around 10 AM which I check around 12 AM. I have to submit daily report by 4 PM. So for next 4 hours, I have to work tirelessly to complete the work which I used to do in 7 hours in office.

After draining my whole energy, I am hardly utilizing rest of the time effectively. I am procrastinating most of my side projects since last 4 days and hardly giving any time to physical exercise. I duly hope that I start managing my daily schedule more effectively because same routine will continue for more upcoming days after announcement of additional 21 days lock down.

Thumbs up to all those who are staying at home and helping India to fight the Corona virus. Special thanks to all those who are staying out and helping the people in need to fight Corona.

While we are staying home, most of people like me are still working from home. I would like to ask all those people staying home and also working from home that how they are utilizing their time being at home ?

I have work from home and so while I complete my office work, I utilize the rest of the time researching about things like sci-fi, crypto, technology, coding etc...
Also I spend a little more time on this forum than I used to. I see people chilling, doing tik tok and doing some random things to pass their time at home. Some people even fight with their family members, that's even worse.

All I want to say is, you have been given a good amount of time and you should utilize it wisely. Learn more about things you are interested in.
Learn about crypto if that's your interest. To all the newbies here, you can use this time to know more about crypto.

Again, do not waste time as it is precious and you will know it only when the time has passed by.
